Last Saturday, just a few days before the New Year of 2014, Avan Jogia was spotted in New York with Ashley Benson, which got us concerned considering the fact that Avan is currently dating Kenna Jenner, the former actress and now pop star.
We dug a little bit into Avan's side relationship and found that since Harry Styles and Kenna Jenner's friendship began again, Avan has been distant from Kenna, spending a lot of time outside LA and in New York. Hence being spotted in New York with Ashley Benson, but what made us even more curious was why he was with Ashley Benson.
The actress is well known for her role as Hanna Marin on Pretty Little Liars that has been successful in the last 4 seasons and said to be running for a few more seasons due to the high popularity of the show. What we really want to know, is why would Avan cheat on Kenna Jenner?
Kenna Jenner didn't have a very good year last year, especially with her break up from Justin Bieber also cheating on her, ending their almost three-year relationship, and then her best friend starting to disappear from her life once he started dating Taylor Swift (their friendship is now mended, Harry is still with Swift) and then she began to have a good turn around in beginning to date Avan. We all know that the Kardashian family loves Kenna, and will always support the popstar no matter what happens in her life and they have been keeping themselves distant from the media for the last couple of days and we suspect that Kenna herself may even know about Avan cheating on her.
However, we cannot be sure of this since neither party has posted anything, and Ashley Benson has not confirmed this either which means that they are laying low for the meantime until something does happen with Kenna and Avan. And personally, we think that that would be cruel on Kenna considering everything she's gone through.
Our hearts go out to Kenna if this information we have been told is true, you deserve so much better girl and we hope that eventually, you will find the one that will support you and love you for the rest of your days.
I sighed, I still hadn't confronted him about it, considering I was busy planning my Yours Truly tour and potentially going on tour with One Direction after that once mine is over. It had only been two days and the news about Avan and Ashley was already out, I just hoped that it wasn't true.
My phone rang beside me, I picked it up to see that it was Avan calling
"Hey," I said when I answered the phone
"Hey baby, do you wanna meet up somewhere or do you want me to come up to yours so we can talk about this." He said,
"You can come to mine if you want. I'm at my parent's house." I said I had been ignoring him since RuPual had told the groupchat about Avan and Ashley, and he seemed to understand why I was ignoring him.
"Alright, see you in a few baby." He said before hanging up, I waited in my room knowing that someone would let him in when he got here. That was until I heard my mom's voice from downstairs twenty minutes later
"Kenna! Avan's here! Come and greet him!" She yelled, I sighed before getting off my comfortable bed and walking downstairs still in my pajama's, he quietly laughed when I saw what I was wearing
"You still not dressed yet?" He asked
"Nope, haven't left the house in the last two days," I answered I gestured for him to follow me and we left my mom to do her own thing. We headed up the stairs and I looked back to see my mom watching with a concerned look on her face. But she let us do our own thing and went back to whatever she was doing before Avan was here. This was one of the days where the cameras weren't here, which meant that we could actually have a conversation in the privacy of my own childhood home without anyone to overhear anything or it be on the media within a few hours.
I reopened my bedroom door and let Avan into my room, I had been planning on moving out of my parent's house but living here was convenient whenever I went on tour.
"I wanted to come by to talk," Avan said as I sat down on my bed, looking at him as I did so
"So talk," I said, gesturing for him to sit down on the bed.
"It's not what the article makes out to be, Ashley's a very old friend. She's going through a really tough time at the moment and needed a friend, nothing romantic happened I swear on God that it didn't. You know that she's dating Ryan Good, their relationship has gone off again and she was under stress from Pretty Little Liars, she just needed a friend and couldn't trust the girls on this one." Avan said,
"I understand, I just wish you'd told me you were going to New York, I didn't even know," I said
"I know and I'm sorry, she needed me right away so I came to her. And I promise that I will tell you the next time I go, and if you want I can ask to bring you so that you two can meet, she's one of my best friends." Avan said, I nodded and let him continue
"I can even show you the conversations we've had since then if you want," Avan said, I smiled
"It's okay, I trust you. Just tell me when your going next time okay? I'd love to see New York again." I said, Avan nodded
"How did you even find out aside from the article? That was released yesterday." Avan said
"Oh, a groupchat with a couple of friends, RuPaul was concerned." Avan smiled at my answer, knowing full well that RuPaul would be the one to contact me if Avan had done anything to hurt me
"He's a good person. Love his fashion sense." Avan said making me laugh, causing Avan to smile and kiss me. I let him. After a small make-out session, we watched a movie on Netflix before he left to go home. I was glad that we had had that talk because I really didn't want it to be true at all. I whole-heartedly trusted him and if he broke my trust I would never trust another guy again, ever. I'd been hurt too many times before.
