"Lilith! Oh my gosh, Lilith! Wake up!" Elijah screamed storming into my room. Banging the door against the wall.

"I got a call! I got a call!" He screamed again and my eyes were wide open.

"The social worker called today, they are going to come visit us today!" He blurted out looking worried. Why was he so stressed?

"Why are you idiot screaming at 8 am in the fucking morning?" Caleb came in.

He only wore his boxer shorts. Oh my-. I looked away.

"A social worker is coming at 5!" He explained. Caleb's eyes widening, too. Why are they all so shocked.

"We can't meet a social worker without a legal guardian!" Elijah screamed.

"Okay, let's calm down. Dad is going to kill us if we loose his daughter at the second day she is back home." Caleb looked distressed.

"Wait, Dad?" I asked, looking at them like I just saw a ghost.

"Caleb! Psch!" Elijah told him. Psch is a little too late now.

"Okay, no Dad, sorry, it just slipped out. I am still not over his death." Caleb explained, his eyes again like nothing in his life ever bothered him. I let it slide, I had other things to worry about now.

"Okay, I am going to go shopping with Lilith now and Caleb you call Vic and tell him he should hurry back home. Maybe Jon can handle the business on his own or they can finish early."

"Sounds like a plan!" Caleb nodded. "I will tell Xander to stay home today, too. I will send him grocery shopping."

Caleb walked off and Elijah just stood in my room smirking at me. "I managed this situation like an adult."

"Yea, good job." I slowly said. "So when will we go?"

"In 20 minutes, we meet at the garage! Be punctual." He also left my room.

20 minutes? Is he serious? I sighed and started braiding my hair, I brushed my teeth and washed my face. Then I put on a red pullover and some black jeans.

I really love these jeans, but the knees stick out so much after wearing them so often.

Still I got ready in under 20 minutes, so Elijah could drive with me to the mall. It wasnt really spectacular and we bought everything I need. Elijah did not look at the prices, but I did. He really wanted to buy everything today, in his hands he had so many bags, I was afraid his hands might hurt.

After getting shirts, jeans, hoodies, shoes and even some dresses we finally ended up buying school stuff for me.

It was over pretty fast, but only because I forgot something really important.

"Uhm-" Elijah said, when I wanted to head back to the parking lot. "Do you maybe need some underwear and socks?"

"If it's not too much I would like to buy some." I mumbled, seeing how red his ears were.

At the end Elijah bought us some ice tea and we sat on a bench drinking it together.

"So did you have fun with me?" He started to make small talk.

"Yes, thank you. I had a great time. And thank you for buying all these clothes." I smiled sincerely. I felt bad for thinking Elijah was as scary as Victor was.

Elijah's cellphone started to ring. "What's up, Caleb?" "At the mall near the train station."

"Are you sure they are going to start something at a mall?" He laughed nervously. He eyed at me, biting his lip. "Yea, okay. We finished some minutes ago. We will take our leave. See you."
