C30: Just for Her

🔰CHAPTER 30:

JIN'S POV:

I woke up by a someone calling my name

A girl's voice?

My gaze went to my side where I saw y/n, covered with her sweat and panting heavily

My eyes landed to my clock that is placed on the nightstand beside her

3:56 am..

Y/n:Geumanhae..J-jin!

M-me?

I looked back at her before I realised that she was having a nightmare

I gently shake her hoping that she would wake up

I sat up as I continue shaking her

Jin:Y/n WAKE UP!

I shake her again, this time hard but careful not wanting to hurt her.

I felt her grip on my shirt before she opened her eyes and quickly sat up.

Jin:Y/n?

She looked at me, without wasting any second she quickly pulled me into a hug before bursting into tears, I hugged her back before gently rub her back to calm her down

Jin:Hey hey it's okay I'm here..it's just a dream

She shook her head before hugging me tightly. I could feel her trembling in my arms as she was so scared

Y/n:I-It f-feels so r-real

She cried harder

Jin:Don't worry y/n, it won't come true, I promise you. No one will get hurt, none of the boys, not me and most importantly not you. We'll protect each other, I'll protect you

I said reassuring her. After she calmed down and stopped from crying I gently pulled away (even if I don't want to) to get her some water.

Jin:Stay here, let me get you some water so you could go back to sleep..

But just before I could get up she grabbed my arm, looking at me with her eyes full of fear

Y/n:A-ani p-lease stay I-I *hiccup* don't w-want to g-go back t-to s- *sob* -sleep...I'm s-scared

I know y/n, I know..I can see it

I leaned on the headboard before pulling her to me. Her head was on my chest while I caress her hair. She scooted closer as I felt her hands wrapped on my waist. I blushed on our position but I shrugged it off as this isn't the right time to joke around

I knew right now she needs me, she needs my comfort and help to wash away her nightmare atleast just for now

The whole time I told her my jokes and it helped her a lot, at first she was just humming until I told the next joke, I successfully made her giggled

Slowly her I succeed covering up her nightmare and lessened her fear

Whatever her dream was about, I can see through her eyes that she was hurt and scared

I hate seeing her like that.If only.. If only I can do something for her to stop having nightmares, I will do it!

I would do anything,
