Dad has managed to get Quidditch World Cup tickets. He even got enough for Hermione and Harry to tag along.

After breakfast Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Fred, George and I are led into the woods by Dad.

"Hey Dad! Where are we going?" Ron asks.

"Haven't the foggiest, keep up!" Dad tells him.

As we make it to a little clearing in the woods I hear a man shout, "Arthur! It's about time son."

Dad waves at the man. "Sorry Amos. Some of us had a bit of a sleepy start." He looks at Ron and Harry. "This is Amos Diggory everyone, he works with me at the ministry." Cedric Diggory, a sixth year Hufflepuff student, hops down from a tree. "And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right?"

Cedric shakes Dad's hand. "Yes sir."

I smile at Cedric. "Mr Diggory."

Cedric smiles. "Professor."

We make our way through the woods once more. We keep going finally making it to a hill.

"Yes, it's uh, just over there," Amos says.

"Shall we?" Dad asks.

"Oh, yeah," Amos agrees.

"We don't want to be late," Dad states.

At the top of the hill is an old boot.

"Get yourself into a good position," Amos tells us.

"Why are they all standing around that manky old boot?" Harry asks.

"That isn't just any old manky boot mate," Fred tells him.

"It's a portkey," George explains.

"Time to go!" Amos shouts.

We all kneel down and we each put one hand on the boot.

"What's a 'portkey'?" Harry asks.

"Ready After three. One... Two..." Amos starts.

"Harry!" Dad shouts.

Harry rushes over and puts his hand on the boot.

"Three!" Amos shouts.

Everyone shouts as we spin and fly up into the air.

"Let go kids" Dad tells us.

"What?" Hermione protests.

"Let! Go!" Dad shouts.

I scream as I let go and hurtle towards the ground. I groan as I hit the ground with a thud. After all my times using Portkeys I still can't manage to land on my feet.

"I bet that cleared your sinuses eh?" Dad remarks.

I smile as Fred and George each reach out and pick me up placing me on my feet. As we cross the field we can see a massive crowd of people and tents.

"Well kids, welcome to the Quidditch World Cup!" Dad tells us.

We start to make our way through the crowd.

"Keep up! Stay together girls," Dad tells us.

Music is playing and people fly about overhead on brooms. I smile as I take in the sights.

We come to a stop in the middle of the crowd.

"Parting of the waves I think old chap, see you at the match," Amos tells Dad.

"See ya later Cedric," Harry tells him.

We stop again next to an impossibly small tent.

"Home sweet home," Dad tells us.
