Unexpected Love

Chapter 14

I woke up from someone grabbing my shoulders.

"Celia" I heard a deep familiar voice say.

"What" I mumbled under my breath.

I opened my eyes slowly to see Severus next to me on the bed. My forehead was laced with small droplets of sweat. He looked worried. His hair was slightly ruffled but apart from that he looked perfect.

"You were screaming"He said moving closer to me.

"Sorry..Nightmare" I looked down twiddling my thumbs together.

"I will listen'" He said pulling the covers over my legs as he saw me shiver.

"It was about"I paused
"You know who"I moved my eyes to his, he looked pained his face slightly agitated.

"What happened in this dream"
"I was in the manor, and the dark lord was calling for me. He tortured me until I agreed to join the cause. He was using the Cruciatus curse on me"
"It felt so real, does this mean anything Severus" I said trying to find some sort of emotion from his face.

Severus' face was cold and pale. He took my hand looking directly into my eyes.

"The dark lord wants you, it's a message from him, he wants you to join the cause" Severus stated letting go of my hand.

"I don't want to Severus"A shiver ran down my spine.

"Celia look at me" he tilted my chin upwards.
"I will protect you the best I can, but in the end I can't stop him from getting you"

"I know. I know I will eventually have to, my whole family are death eaters so there is no escaping" I felt tears forming behind my eyes.
It made me sad that I will be forced to do it, that I had no choice.

Severus pulled me closer to him. He got his thumb and wiped away the tears which had escaped. He shushed me holding the back of my head as I layed on his shoulder. I had never seen this side of Severus before, never seen him care so much.

"It's okay Celia, I won't let anyone hurt you" his voice mumbled as I was drifting back to sleep.

I woke up my eyes heavy. I rubbed them and turned seeing Severus already up and dressed in his signature black robes. Did he not have anything else other then black.

"Good morning Severus" I smiled

"Good morning Celia, you should get going. We don't want anybody getting suspicious now do we?"He stated in his morning voice, which was to die for.

I nodded. Severus walked over to me holding a mug of liquid with steam floating out of the top.

"Tea" he questioned waving it in front of me.

"Thank you" I took it from his hands and started to sip on it. The liquid heating my body.

I got up slowly finishing of the tea and made my way to the door which led back into the potions classroom. I needed to head back to my dorm room before anybody woke up, it was still quite early around 6:30.

"I like this side to you Severus" I exclaimed turning around to him.

"Excuse me?" He took a step closer to where I was standing.

"I like it when your caring and sweet" I grinned

'Sweet?' He Mocked.

'Yes sweet' I laughed.

Severus clutched my shoulders and looked deeply into my eyes. He quickly placed a soft kiss on my forehead. It made my stomach explode with butterflies and I felt a small blush coming onto my cheeks. He just kissed my forehead.

"Run along now Celia" Severus said opening the door in front of me.

For some reason I just couldn't stop smiling, I nodded and made my way out of the dungeons checking both ends of the corridors.

"Where have you been" Cora exclaimed as I walked back into the dorm.

'Shit. What do I even say.'

"I have been studying nearly all night for that test we have soon in potions, you know how the old bat is. Give us detentions if we fail" i rolled my eyes trying my best to look annoyed.

"Right but you are amazing in potions Celia, but if you want to study then okay" she laughed dragging her feet out of the covers.

'That was a close one.' I thought to myself.

"So what are you doing for Christmas break" I asked

"Most likely spending it with my parents as they aren't away this year, what about you"

"In the manor as always" I huffed.

Christmas in the manor was always dull and boring. None of my friends ever came over as we sometimes had meetings which I tried to avoid. But I have a feeling I won't be able to escape them this time.

Me and Cora made our way down to the great hall in time for breakfast. The slytherin table was rather full, filled with people talking about Christmas and their plans.

"Good morning Celia" Draco said sarcastically.

"Same to you. Brother" I said in the same tone sitting down opposite him.

"So guess who is staying with us over Christmas break" he hissed angrily taking a bite out of a pumpkin pastie.

"Spill it"

"Professor Snape, can you believe it" He spit

I nearly chocked on the juice I was drinking.

"Se- Professor Snape, seriously" i shrieked earning a few students to glance at me.

"He will just torment us" Draco scoffed.

"Why is he staying with us" I asked.

"How should I know probably something to do with you know" he whispered raising his eyebrows quickly.

How come he didn't tell me? I looked over to the Professor table. I met his eyes and his smiled ever so slightly in which I returned he then set his eyes in the food in-front of him.I wonder how this is going to turn out. We had fun sneaking around Hogwarts but now he was going to be staying with me. Something tells me this is going to be interesting.
