I sulked my way back towards the great hall with Severus slowly following me.
The great hall was now half broken and filled with desperate and suffering students and professors. The war was over but the aftermath was brutal. Mounts of bodies piled together being taken and put in rows by different people. I began Walking down the isle with a limp inspecting each body, hoping not to find my best friends laying within the mess.
Tears pricked my eyes as I tried to hold them back wanting to look strong. I looked around to see people huddling together and some people sat next to the body of their loved ones holding them.

I noticed one body covered by a rag, I pulled it back only to wish I never did. I saw the soot dusted hair and instantly recognised that it was the young wizard whom I had saved earlier. I tear escaped my eye as I thought about the precious life she left behind and the family that would be without a daughter. I lowered my head brushing a piece of hair back from her face and muttering a 'I'm sorry' under my breath to try and pay my respect to the girl.

"Asha William" Severus muttered behind me.

"Is that her name?" I questioned putting the rag back over her body and turning towards Severus.

"Yes, such disciplined student" He frowned trying not to show any emotion but I could tell he was feeling sadness looking at all the body's around him.

I carried on down the hall taking slight glances over my shoulder to make sure Severus was still following me. My heart began to beat as I couldn't find Taylah or Cora as I searched the hall, my mind kept thinking 'what if they are dead?' I shook my head aggressively while muttering 'no' under my breath.

"You have something on your mind?" Severus questioned as he trailed behind me getting a few glares from students.

"What if my friends are dead" I sighed putting a hand through my hair.

"Let's find them Celia" He said quietly gesturing me along.

I began walking down the hall when I noticed someone. 'Is that tonks?' I thought hurrying up towards her but noticed something was very wrong. Her lifeless body lay next to remus's there hands touching. "NO" I screamed falling to my knees as I looked between the two. Tears welled up in my eyes thinking about how they died without saying goodbye to one another. I let my head fall into my eyes as I tried to suppress the sobs which was escaping my mouth causing my breath to go rugged and my body shaky. "Why Her as-well" I whispered.

I sensed someone kneel down next to me and put their hand onto my shoulder. "They can rest now, I saw professor Mcgonagall bring them into the hall and lay them down next to each other" heard the voice of Cora explain this to me.

"Cora" I sniffed rapidly turning my head not caring about the state I was in. "Your alive!" I exclaimed wrapping my hands around her and burying my head and she embraced me in a tight hug.

"Of course I'm alive, you really think I would leave you" Cora stated pulling out of the hug and wiping a tear of my face. "We can bury them if you would like, me and Taylah will help you" She smiled sadly as I saw her eyes water slightly.

"Where is Taylah?"

"I'm here" Taylah said also kneeling down beside us patting my shoulder.

"Glad your still here" I took her into a hug before letting her go.

"Me to, and I'm glad this is all over, and if you don't mind me asking How did Remus die?" She asked carefully.

"He uh-" I stopped as I tried to hold back another wave of tears. "He saved my life" I let out. "Jumped in-front of me when the killing curse-" I took in a shaky breath. "Was coming my way- it killed him"
I closed my eyes as it replayed in my mind.
