Ch. 22 "Closer"

                                                                       Jayden POV 

It was the next day, I'm sitting on the couch next to Kol reading, I was sitting indian style on the couch, Klaus is sketching, we hear the door close, and we see Rebekah still in her dress from yesterday,

"Well, well, well, there's our girl!" Kol said 

[He stands before her and blocks her way.]

"Get out of my way, Kol." Rebekah said "Out all night. What a scandal! I trust you did better than that commoner? Matt, was it?" Kol said 
"Be nice," I said looking up from my book, 
"Only for you bunny," He said winking at me: If you don't shut your mouth, the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth.

[Klaus grins.]

"Don't start, Nik!" Rebekah said "I didn't say anything." Klaus said "I'm bored. Our sister is a strumpet, but at least she's having fun. I need entertainment." Kol said "What are you waiting for? Go on, have at it." Klaus said "It's not fun to go alone. Join me, Nik! It's the least you can do after sticking a dagger in my heart." Kol said 
I smirked "Okay. Why not? I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night, what with you trying to murder Rebekah's date. and You are coming too," Klaus said making me close my book
"Why?" I asked tilting my head, 
"You can't avoid them forever little bird, besides you've been cooped up in this house too long," Klaus said 
He pulled me up from the couch, 
"Yeah, two originals taking a under aged girl to a bar yeah, that's not going to draw attention," I said 
"Who said we were going to the bar?" Kol said wrapping his arm around me, 
"Please that all you ever go," I said 
They chuckled 
"You know sometimes I hate you," I said looking at Klaus, 
"Aww I love you too little Bird," Klaus said 
Yeah, don't get the wrong Idea here, me and Klaus and all of his siblings for that matter, have the younger sister older sibling kind of relationship, "Yes, please go, this house has enough men rolling around it in." Rebekah said "Just like you, Bekah." Kol said 
I covered my mouth trying not to laugh, 
"Don't boost his ego little owl," Rebekah said 

We walked into the Grill and I see Ric at his usual spot with a woman, 
"Oh come on now. Let's not go blaming the new family in town just because you lot have got yourselves a killer at large. Don't mind us. My brother and I are just here to let off some steam, right Kol? along with the adorable little bird," Klaus said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders"Right." Kol said 


                                                    Third Person POV 

[Stefan enters the house.]

"I can't find her anywhere." Stefan said 

[He walks into the living room and sees Elijah sitting by the fireplace, talking to Damon.]

"Hello, Stefan." Elijah said "He has Elena." Damon said "Actually, she's with Rebekah. As you can imagine, my sister is just dying to tear her throat out. So...if you want to save Elena's life, I need you to help me stop my mother." Elijah said  "I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but when it comes to killing thousand year old resurrected witches, I'm a little rusty. And What does Jayden say about you holding her older sister hostage?" Damon said "Yes, unfortunately, even when killed my mother doesn't seem to want to stay dead. Not with the spirits of nature at her side, and I'm sure you all may have noticed Little Dove seems quite content with my family, since none of you made any attempt to apologize for your actions," Elijah said 
Damon and Stefan looked at each other knowing full well he was right, "So, what are we supposed to do?" Stefan said "The witches that released my mother, she's drawing her power from their bloodline, that line needs to be broken." Elijah said "Broken?" Stefan asked "Yeah, he means." Damon said 
 [Damon makes a cutting motion with his forefinger over his neck.]"You want us to kill them." Stefan said "You know I'd do it myself, but I have absolutely no idea where they are. Besides, seeing me, they'd immediately know my intent. They won't expect to be harm by the likes of you. In any case, you have until six minutes after nine to find them." Elijah said "Oh, how super specific of you." Damon said "By 9:07, the moon will be full, my mother will have the power she needs to kill me and my family. If you do not stop her before then, Rebekah will kill Elena. So we all have our timeline? I suggest you get started. and Don't worry I'll keep little dove out of all of this, we've grown rather close to her," Elijah said
