Ch. 44 "Memory"

                                    Jayden POV 

I was standing in the middle of my bedroom taking a deep breath. Kol and Klaus explained it to me if I don't feed by the end of the day... I will die. 

I take another deep breath. I don't know if I can do this. I feel bad when I see someone run over a rodent. How in the world am I going to feed off a human. 

I hear a Knock and look over to see Kol. 

"You ready bunny?' He said 

Yes Kol is going to show me control and how to feed I know shocking. 

"I don't know if I can do this Kol." I said 

"Come now Bunny it's not as bad as you think it is." Kol said 

"Just a tiny bit of blood won't hurt okay." He said 

I took another deep breath and nodded. 

"Besides I will be right there just incase anything happens." He said 

"Okay.." I said 

"Fantastic! Now lets get a move on you only have a few more hours." He said 

I nodded 

We went down stairs where Klaus and the others were.

I could feel my heart pounding I was so worried about killing someone. I thought 

Klaus could see the worry in my eyes and hugged me. 

"You'll do just fine little bird." Klaus said 

I just nodded. 

"Come one bunny." Kol said 

"Coming.." I said walking behind him. 

We get in the car. 

I fall asleep on the way there 

Suddenly I was standing in the middle of the road'

"You really shouldn't be out here on your own. should you?" I hear Damon's voice 

I turn around 

"This is Mystic Falls nothing bad happens here." I said 

"Besides your the one walking in the middle of no where." I said 

"You should talk." Damon said 

"I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Damon Salvatore." Damon said holding out his hand

"Jayden Gilbert." I said 

"Are you related to Stefan?" I asked 

"Why yes I am, But I would like to say I'm the cooler brother." Damon said 

I chuckled

"But I can't have my brother knowing I'm here just yet." He said looking me in the eyes. 

"So you have to forget about me." He said 

I blinked a few times and I was back in the car. 

"You okay Bunny?" He said 

"Do you remember things that you were compelled to forget when you turn into a vampire?" I asked 

"Yeah." He said 

"You remember something?' He asked 

I nodded 

"Meeting Damon." I said 

He chuckled 

"Don't worry were almost there." He said 

I nodded looking out the window 

We are now in the next town where Kol parked the car. It was getting dark and i felt myself getting sluggish and weaker. 

"A night club?" I asked confused 

"Yeah the music is so loud people don't hear a bloody thing. And they will think you are dancing." Kol said smirking 

I raised my eyebrow. 

"Don't worry it'll be a piece of cake." He said getting out of the car. 

I got out of the car shutting the door. 

"What if I don't drink blood." I mumbled 

"We've been through this then you will die." Kol said 

"Doesn't sound like a bad idea at this point." I mumbled but Kol heard me

"No you don't." He said glaring at me. 

"Sorry I just don't know if I can do this... what if I end up killing someone." I said 

"It's not that big of a deal bunny and i won't let it get to that." He said smiling looping his arm around my waist 

We enter the night club. 

He leaned down and whispered 

"Now you just pick who looks easy. Might I suggest the Blonde that is drunk off his ass." Kol said nodding towards her. 

I nodded making my way towards her. 

"You are not going to scream and you are going to dance with my friend here." Kol said 

The man nodded 

"All yours Bunny." Kol said 

I nodded and felt my fangs dig into the man's flesh in his neck. The blood tasted like  nothing I ever had before. 

I felt as if I was without water for weeks. the blood satisfied my taste,

"That's enough bunny." He said and I let the man go. 

Kol wiped some of the blood off my lip with his thumb. 

"You did good Bunny." He said smirking 

I nodded 

"Now who's next?" He asked smirking 

I smiled at him thinking that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Knowing Kol was going to be there to help me every step of the way.
