Ch. 28 "Restriction"

                                                   Klaus POV 

It was early the next morning and boy did we have a mess to clean, up, cups scattered everywhere, plates and other items littered the ground, 

I let Jayden this one time drink, Not just because of it being her birthday yesterday, but because of how her sister, her own flesh and blood have treated her, 

They unappreciated Jayden, the light that she is, I thought as I walked down to the living room where I find Jayden fast asleep on the couch with Kol, 

Kol's arms are wrapped around her while her face is buried in his chest, They have grown fairly close, I smirked and walked into the kitchen, 

I have put Elena on restrictions on seeing Jayden due to her behavior towards Jayden, I thing about that conversation we have with her and the Salvatore's yesterday morning 

                                             Flashback 

I arrived to find Elijah waiting for me, 

"Niklaus what is this about?" Elijah said 

"It seems Elena has forgotten Jayden's birthday and she's quite upset," I said 

Elijah's eyes widen, 

We walk into the home to See Elena and the Salvatore's discussing god know what,

"Well isn't this cozy," I said 

They all spin around, 

"Klaus.." Elena said 

"Right you are love, you know I should rip your heart out for making little bird cry," I said 

"I didn't do anything," Elena said 

"Exactly!" I said 

"Niklaus please," Elijah said 

"It has come to our attention that you have forgotten a certain special occasion," Elijah said not sounding happy 

"What are they talking about?" Stefan asked her, 

She just sat there and pondered, 

"I don't know what your talking about," She said confused, 

"Your negligence is becoming most taxing," Elijah said 

"Her birthday you forgot your own sisters birthday!" I said growing impatient 

Elena looked at her phone, 

"Oh my god.." She said 

"I think there should be a penalty for this don't you Elijah?" I asked 

"Yes, it seems they do not wish to cherish little dove even when she does forgive them for their lies," Elijah said 

"You can't hurt me," Elena said 

"No I cannot cause little bird more pain that you caused, But I can persuade you," I said 

"What do you want?" Damon said 

"You lot stay away from little bird, until she gets over this, if you don't lets just say one of you vampires might just suffer a nasty werewolf bite," I said darkly 

"You can't do that she's my sister," Elena said 

"Really? because you certainly do not act like one," Elijah said 

With that we both left,

I started cleaning up the mess, I even let Katerina here because she makes little bird happy, 

"Nik?" I heard a small voice, 

I turned around to see Little bird, her hair was a mess, but she still looked adorable, 

"Hey little Bir-" I began 

But suddenly she hugged, me, 

"Thank you.." She said 

Her face buried in my chest, 

"Any time little Bird," I whispered bak at her as I petted her head
