Ch. 8 "Career fair"

                                         Jayden POV 

Today is the career fair at the school, 

Me and Ty were walking together, 

"Still wanna be an artist?" Ty asked 

"Yeah, but.." I trailed off, 

"But what?" He asked 

"I don't think I'm good enough to be one," I said chuckling, 

"Come on shorty your drawings are great," Ty said 

"Thank you," I said smiling at him, 

I see Elena, Stefan and Aunt Jenna standing next to each other, I walk towards them, 

"Hide me," Jenna said 

"What's going on?" Elena said 

"The scum Fell has landed," Jenna said 

I giggled 

"Logan's here," Elena said surprised 

"Wait Logan Fell?" Stefan asked 

Jenna nods Stefan leaves Elena follows 

Me and Aunt Jenna are talking, 

"You know you are not off the hook for sneaking out," Jenna said 

"Yeah, I know," I said sadly 

"Good," She said 

Elena walked towards us, 

"When Logan came to the house, what did he say?" Elena said 

"Fake flattery, stupid dimpled grin, Puppy dog eyes," Aunt Jenna said 

"I'm serous Jenna how did he act? what did he say?" Elena asked 

What's up with Elena? I thought 

"He was the usual Logan, was charming, a little more manic than usual, he kept trying to convince me to let him in," Jenna said 

Elena gives Jenna a look, 

"What?" Jenna said 

"Ok, listen to me very carefully, do not under any circumstances , talk to him again, I'm serious, Jenna like ever!" Elena said 

What is her problem she's acting weird, I thought 

"Hey, Elena, Jenna, Jayden," Alaric said 

"Hi, Mr, Saltzman," Elena said 

"Hey," I said smiling at him, 

"Yeah, I was hoping to see you tonight," Alaric said 

"Career night is the new bowling," Jenna said 

"If that's what you call it," I said 

Causing both of them to laugh

"Ok, um excuse me," Elena said 

"Yeah, me to," I said about to leave, 

"Ah, I don't think so," Jenna said grabbing the back of my hood, 

"Dang it," I mumbled 

Later we were on our way home when Jenna asked me a question, 

"So why did you sneak out?" She asked, 

"I just feel like you guys don't let me do anything on my own," I mumbled 

"Sure we do, it's just we worry about you, your small for your age considering you were premature and everything, and anything could happen," Jenna said 

"Yeah, I know," I mumbled 

"Good, now I'll make dinner but then bed," Jenna said as we entered the house,  

"Okay," I said
