"How long did you stay??" She asked Indigo

"About 3 hours. Mari came and got me
out..." she said

"It wasn't that serious for them to take her to jail. Couples fight all the time..." I said

"Y'all need to sit down..." mom said before they started bringing out our drinks

Our food came out and it looked great. My stomach growled at the sight of the food. I rubbed my stomach as he sat the food in front of me. I say a quick prayer and started eating. Food was so good I wasn't even talking, I was just eating.

"It's good??" Indigo asked looking at me with a smile

I looked up at her and gave her a middle finger. She laughed again before started back eating. We was eating and having minimum conversation cuz we were to busy eating. After I was done eating, I leaned back in my chair while rubbing my stomach. I looked at Liyah and she was sitting the same way.

"Y'all are definitely sisters..." Naomi said laughing

"I agree cuz I've seen them do the same thing so many times..." Indigo said

"Yeah, they act just alike. Aaliyah was born a few years after Amari. Their father and I felt like we had the same child twice..." mom said

"Speaking of dad, have anybody talked to him??" I asked looking at mom and Liyah

"No, I haven't talked to him in a while actually..." mom said

"Me either mom. I called him like 2 weeks ago and didn't get an answer..." Liyah said

"Me either. I'll normally will talk to him twice every month but I haven't heard from him..." I said

"Well I'm sure he's fine. Y'all know how he is..." mom said

Liyah and I nodded. Mom phone started going off. She grabbed it and smiled.

"I hope y'all don't mind. I invited somebody to hang with us for the rest of the day..." mom said with a smile

I knew that smile. She found a new boo.
She looked at the door and her smiled widened.

"There he is..." she said

Indigo and I turned around to see Grant standing at the door. We looked at each other then I looked at my mom.

"Mom hell no..." I said making her look at me confused
