Charlie's POV:

I woke up at 6 am and made breakfast and then went for a run to the basketball court

I really like playing and no body really plays with me I just like being alone

Its something that I prefer to do alone just like I do with everything and everyone close to my hear

I have a baby sister and she's 5

After my mom died when I was 13

My dad didn't really care and one day just left us

My sister was the only reason I kept going and I love her

I came back at 7

And got changed into this :

I always wear baggy clothes, I feel nice and comfortable and idc if people think I'm insecure Cruz all that's important to me is my heart knowing I actually have a nice body or whatever

and then i went to school

I walk to school everyday BC it feels good to take early morning walks while having a chocolate croissant

Honestly it was the best feeling

Then I finnally got to school

I was a bit early so I went to my locker to clean it up a bit

I was taking out my books and I reached my hand in to grab my book that I read in free periods and as soon as my hand went 2 inches away from my locker

Someone slammed it shut

Vinnie: hi u fuckin bitch

Charli: ow!

I screamed as a bit of my finger chipped when he slammed my locker

Vinnie: hey are you hurt baby? Oh I'm sorry beautiful HAHAHA u ugly bitch

Charli: GET AWAY FROM ME!

Vinnie: I'll get away if I want to slut

Charlie: what do you want!?

Vinnie: I don't have to tell you anything-

Charli: oh really is it that or do you just not a reason you idiot!

I actually stood up for myself

You see Vinnie is the son of a billionaire and he basically is the rich boy in school and no one ever dared to say a word to him including me  , well until now , I always kept quite and let him call me stuff but not today buddy

I was scared a bit......I just insulted THE Vinnie hacker......I knew I was in huge trouble......maybe the worst I've been in

I went to math class and unfortunately we had 5 classes together but I was really focused on my studies

You see I have always needed academic validation and its kind of an obsession now.....its like I can't get below 10 in my tests , a nine for me is poor its just the only thing keeping me alive....it'd almost like it runs through my blood

Today we were re learning algebra and I was really focused and interested

When the teacher wrote 2 problems on the board and I quickly raised my hand since I had done these a night before

Teacher: wow no one? Its like I only teach Charlie in this class no one else , cmon guys please just try, I know you guys know this you're just a bit scared you'll get it wrong but theres nothing wrong with that, I'll help you-

Vinnie: yea well maybe you can't teach and the nerd obviously is desperate for attention since she drools over boys

The whole class burst out laughing

And my blood was boiling

Not bc of him calling me desperate but for insulting a genuinly sweet person who tried her best to teach and is probably the only teacher who cares about her students

I smiled at miss Penelope, got up and took the marker from her hand

Then I erased the 2 and changed it into 1

And honestly i was terrified of him, I wasn't sure if I was gonna be alive tommorow so why not live my life today

The bell rang and my eyes widened when I realized it was last period

And ran for my life

I didn't even put on my bag properly
