Chap-25 Trust!

          Isabelle's PoV

        I told my PI and other people to start finding the person behind all this.

     They are underestimating me.

         I ordered everyone to go back to their work and I'll deal with other things

           "Mr. Miller!" I said during the meeting

    He looked at me with hope in his eyes

    "Till this matter is not solved you are not allowed to enter the office!" His eyes widened

    I saw the hurt in his eyes

         Mr. Brooks looked at me like I'm the culprit here but didn't say anything

   "B_but ma'am....."

    "Now everyone can leave, and Mr. Miller please leave the office right now," I said without looking at him

      I felt Aaron's gaze on me but I ignored him

  "Now do I have to repeat every damn thing here? I said leave right now" I said while raising my voice

     And everyone left, leaving me alone in the cabin. I threw the pen away and leaned back on the chair while closing my eyes

      I wish you could have stood up for yourself and not stood there like a culprit.

   But no, this time I'll teach you a lesson.

      I reached home late, I went directly to my room and saw Aaron sitting on the bed and sleeping

      I smiled, he looked so peaceful. I moved forward to kiss his forehead but then I remembered his doing

      But I couldn't let him sleep like that, he'll get a sprain in his neck, stupid man. I think he was waiting for me.

    I changed and knocked the frame so that Aaron will wake up from its noise.

   Aaron woke up and looked here and there

   I ignored him and laid down

       "I_isa...." I ignored him and closed my eyes

       "I_I tr_trus......."

    "Switch off the lamp, I have to sleep. I have office tomorrow unlike someone" I said in a hard tone

     I felt bad saying it but no he has to learn

       He kept quiet at it

     "I didn't do anything, i ......" I can hear his voice breaking

          "That's what I was asking you at that time to say a damn word but you stood there like a culprit and now you have to face it because it's you who could have said  only a 'no' then I would have not let a person say a word against you but staying silent you told everyone that you did it so face it," I said sternly

          "I don't care what they think. It's you who matters, I just want you to trust me that I didn't do anything. Tru........"

         "Good night!" I cut him off,

   Sorry Aaron, but I have to do it

         After some time I heard him sigh and he switched off the lamp

        But I couldn't sleep, it's my habit to sleep in his arms.

   I wanted to hug him but I can feel that he is awake too.
