Kakashis vision blinked back into focus and the first thing he noticed was the prominent smell of blood. The metallic smell was strong in the Hatakes sensitive nose. The second thing he noticed was the still form of his father, Sakumo Hatake.
"D-dad?" Kakashi says as lightning flashes in the window—lighting up the blood—as Kakashi uses his too small hands to roll his father over only to see his Tanto stabbed into his own gut.
"Nononononono." Kakashis small—still innocent—voice breaks the silence with the thunder sounding in the background,
"N-not ag-again, DAD! W-wake up!"
The only sound now is the rain thumping on the roof, and Kakashi's sobs as he gently shakes his fathers corpse.
