The Camping Trip: A Jori Story

Night at Tori's

Tori started prepping around the house, trying to make sure everything would look nice for when Jade came over.

"Trina, what do we have in the fridge that's salvageable?" Tori called and then said "Y'know what? Maybe I should just order something for us to have"

Trina came into the living room in a bathrobe with an avocado on her face, "What? I can't hear you, I'm getting ready to go into the bathtub"

"Oh good! Please stay there all night" Tori said, hopefully

Trina put her hands on her hips, "Why don't you want to bask in my beauty?"

"I just think you'd be much happier having a nice long bath then being out here. The boring old living room" Tori said, leaning against the counter

Trina gave Tori a look, "You're acting weird"

"No I'm not" Tori quickly responded

"Uh yeah you are!" Trina retorted

Tori sighed, "Trina, what do you want? How about I pour you some cucumber water?"

Trina beamed, "That'd be lovely! I'm heading upstairs, bring it on a tray please! And give me some strawberries too!"

Tori lamented, "Fine, it's not like I have anything better to do"

Tori started preparing Trina's spa meal when she heard knocking at the door

There was no way Jade could be done with her appointment yet. Tori walked to the door cautiously and opened it

It was Robbie and Cat

"Hey Tori!" Cat squealed

"Hiya there, Tori! What's happening?" Robbie asked as he let himself him, Cat right at his side

He even had Rex with him

Tori asked, "Yeah, that's a wonderful question. What's happening? What are you guys doing here?"

Cat was typing something on her phone, "We're having a lil party, teehee!"

Robbie shrugged, "Yeah, we're bored"

"Well I'm not, get out of my house!"

"Tori, you're so silly! I already invited Andre and Beck over! giggled Cat

"Yeah, I can't wait! We're gonna have a dance party like that night we performed, 'Shut Up and Dance'" said Rex with a laugh

Tori blinked, "Wait, that actually happened? I thought that was all a dream..."

"I don't know, girl" Rex said

"Anyways, back to what I was saying before. Cat, Robbie, you guys can't just come here and decided to have a party! I already had plans tonight" Tori said, trying to explain as nice as possible

She went over to the kitchen to finish chopping up strawberries for Trina

"I'm sorry, Tori. But it's okay! You have new plans now!" Cat said, optimistically

"Wait, Tori, what are you doing?" asked Robbie

"I'm making Trina a spa food tray" replied Tori, sheepishly

Rex guffawed, "Hahah, yeah some big plans there!"

Tori shook her head, "Okay, I was going to have Jade over tonight for dinner"

"You were gonna have Jade for dinner? How do you do that?" asked Cat, genuinely

Tori looked at Cat, taken back, "What? No, I said I was going to have...ugh forget it"
