This is my new work, based on the Hindi serial, Barrister Babu.
Let me tell a few words on that serial. The first installment of Barrister Babu was great. It shows the journey of a curious and brave 8-yr old child, who questions the ill-beliefs of the society and a young man, who has returned from London with a goal. Educate Indian girls and women. Abolish the ill-practices followed by the society.
There is more to the story, but what I'm gonna write is totally different from the serial.
Also, some scenes from it would be recreated so I'm not revealing those here.
Most important thing is that I'm not following the serial's setting.

The characters of this book are:
Bondita Das/Bondita Roy Choudhary
She is a fierce, strong and an independent woman. Raised in a progressive family, she feels the societal norms are a sham and are fake and made up. Dreams of bringing equality in every field of work by educating women and proving men wrong. Age: 21
Prosenjit Das
Bondita's father, Sumati's husband. He believes in equality just like his family members except his wife and her relatives. The greatest Barrister of all times and Anirudh's role model. Age: 39
Sampoorna Jhadhav
Evil niece of Bondita. An habitual stealer, would go to any extent to steal money. She is like that because her parents brainwashed her and turned her against Bondita. Age: 17
Sumati Das
Bondita's Mother, Prosenjit's wife. She sticks by her brother and SIL no matter what they do and would choose them over her husband and daughter. Age: 29
Devoleena Jhadhav & Sundaram Jhadhav
Sampoorna's parents. Sumati's SIL and brother. Can be nicknamed as root of all evil. Hated by Prosenjit and his family. Ages: 31, 36
Kalindi Das
Matriarch of the Das Family. She took over all the businesses when her husband died. Funds the education of Tupur and Tapur after discovering their talents. Age: 50
Tupur Das/Bannerjee & Chandrachur Bannerjee
Tupur is elder to Bondita by a year. She was forcibly married to Chandrachur who wants to subdue her as he has a regressive mindset. Ages: 22, 28
Tapur Das
She is Bondita's and Tupur's younger sister. Currently studying Ayurveda, she's excelling in everything. Age: 20
