You make me feel things I didn't believe in anymore

————⋆✦⋆————

The loud noise in the sky that you can hear when there is a storm and that usually comes after a flash of light echoes loudly, giving shivers to the crawling living beings in the land under the thick blanket of expanded pitch black sky. The tiny slow pearl droplets increase their pace and so the rain invites a street of colorful umbrellas to blossom.

The little human being, merely three years old bursts into a puddle of giggles. His chubby small palm rose, reaching out from the slightly open window. His hearty pink small lips parted softly in awe when the tiny cold droplets landed on his smooth skin. His curly long lashes blink, shadowing his big doe eyes.

"Thanda!" He chirps loudly, clapping his hands in between.

Again the thunder's voice echoes, scaring the little boy to the core that he ran away from there. His little feet took him to the girl, who was sitting on the plastic chair, lost in her thoughts.

Her eyes softened when the little human being dropped his hands on her lap. His head snuggled on the fabric of her pyjama, causing her to caress his head.

"What happened? Are you scared?" She asked honey, dripping in her voice. The little boy shook his head before lifting it. His hazel orbs meet with her dark ones. They are so dark, so deep, so secretive and mysterious that if anyone gets lost, no one can find them again...like a deep, dark green dense forest.

"The voice is scary" He complained, fiddling the cotton fabric of her pyjamas between her little fingers. A soothing small chuckle left her mouth, her fingers caressing his baby hairs, "But you are strong right?" He nodded his head slowly, his soft baby lips forming into a cute pout.

"Come play!" He beams loudly, grabbing her fingers when the thunder vanishes somewhere between the heavy rain.

"In the rain?" She asked while standing up. He nodded his head vigorously, "I like rain, Pretty pretty!" He giggled loudly, running ahead tailing the girl behind him.

"I like rain too!" She mumbles, reaching the window and staring outside the dark grey night. The rain is increasing, shadowing nature around the mansion.

"Come!" The little boy shouted running to the open verandah attached to the room.

She widened her eyes "No baby! Come back," She yelled but the little boy went deaf to her yelling. He spread his little hands like he got his freedom back after years of being caged behind the iron rods. His lashes kissed his cheekbones when the drops continuously landed on his figure. A melodious giggle left his mouth, almost inaudible between the heavy rain and a soothing sound for the girl.
