In making fun of each other we didn't realize it was already 6:12 and we have to be home by 6:30. I put my leg on the accelerator and speeded our way back. we reached the mansion at 6:28, didn't care to park properly I threw the key to one of the guards and told him to park it properly for me while running. I was going to knock when the door opened and I was going to fall but managed to balance myself. Aiden had opened the door, I showed him my wristwatch and told 

"It's 6:29, I am a minute early "

"I am aware of that, good for you Elijah was losing his patience, " Aiden said in a tone that mothers use when their child does something wrong and the mother warns that she will tell the child's dad 

"Whatever I am on time mother," I said joking while I entered, the biggest mistake never tease a wife while her husband is around, I mean never tease Aiden while Elijah is around 

"Mind repeating yourself K.A.R.A," Elijah asked with both of his hands in the pant pockets 

"Oh nothing I was just telling Aiden how grateful I am to have him as my elder brother l "

" Really?" he asked walking towards me, and I just nodded aggressively. he held my chin and made me look at him " have you been crying," he asked. fuck, I checked my face in the mirror before leaving the car there are no stains and I didn't tell tears slip down my eyes so that means he got to know thanks to my eyes.

" No, why do you think so, " I asked 

"don't lie to me " Elijah slightly raised his voice 

" You have been crying too??" Aiden asked I turned back to see Kayden with red eyes fuck my life. Kayden didn't say anything just nodded no I don't think he can lie, not to our brothers at least. 

" Are you going to tell me or should I find out myself ??" Elijah asked  

"Fine," I said leaving a long sigh, I looked at kay he looked confused. Sorry brother 

"While we were coming back there was this sandy road I closed the windows but Kay wanted them to be open after arguing for a while Kayden won so we opened the windows and the sand got in our eyes," I told controlling my laugh looking at kay, he was pissed like pissed pissed. 

"Kayden aren't you being too irresponsible? You're grounded till new Year's no phone no games" Elijah declared without giving Kayden a chance to talk. I stopped laughing this was too much 

"Okay," Kayden said and I looked at him in disbelief why would he? 

"Elijah don't, we were just having fun " I defended Kayden, I was joking I didn't want Kayden to be grounded or be yelled at.

"I told what I told, I don't want to argue about this anymore, " Elijah told not looking at me he was about to go somewhere inside when I said " It's his birthday tomorrow Elijah you can't do that to him " " I can and I did" he replied 

"Oh really then I am equally at fault If your 'being irresponsible' means the lunch thing that happened in school  I was at fault he was just defending me. I am sorry if it brings you shame to be called as my brother and now we were just having fun and I didn't actually blame him I was joking. And if you can and did. so even I am grounded right that means I can not celebrate my birthday with you guys AGAIN" I made sure to press on the word again. 

He looked at Kayden and then said " No one is grounded go change be down soon. You don't have to wear anything formal" I didn't respond and started walking up the stairs I picked up my pace when I heard Kayden's footsteps behind me I ran into my room and was about to close the door Kayden put his leg in between stopping me from closing the door now I had to option one break Kayden's leg two die. I was thinking about what to do when he pushed the door and walked inside
