The Bookstore pt 2

Cecilia POV

"So do you come here often?" He asks and I scoff.

"No my jobs kinda... Demanding."

"I see, I have a fairly demanding job myself."

"Really?"

"Yeah I'm in the Marines."

"I see."

"What do you do?" He asks me.

"I'm a teacher." It's not completely a lie, I teach Zach how to do hand to hand combat.

"Oh, what do you teach?"

"Preschool." That's not a lie either, Zach has the attention span of a preschooler sometimes.

"So what's your name?" He asks me.

"Cecilia, you?"

"Andrew." I look at Andrew again. He has three tattoos that are visible.

"Like your tattoo. I have one just like it."

"Which one?"

"Semper Fi. Left wrist. I have the same one behind my right ear."

"I see. So here's the horror." He motions to a bookshelf.

"Ok, thank you very much, Andrew." He grabs my wrist. I have to resist the erg to flip him over my shoulder.

"Hey Cecilia, do you, like, wanna get some coffee or something?" I considered all of my options.

"I'd love to." I say. What the heck? I just decided against it. I was going to say so too. He smiles brightly.

"Ok!" Andrew says excitedly. We go back to the right front of the store and both order coffee. We sit talk and drink coffee until the manager throws us out. He insists upon driving me home since I had just walked here and now it was dark. I find this ironic as I'm probably better off in D.C. at night then he is. When we get to my building he walks me up the front walk and thanks me for a great evening, and then he does something worse than anything else he could of done. He kissed me.
