I stood in front of the window, looking out onto the empty bar as Lisa led Jennie out.

I tightened my jaw.

Stop it! Stop prying! If you knew everything about me then you would know why I don't want to have sex with you or anybody!

That's been bothering me for some time now.

I don't get why she said it.

Was she raped? Sexually Assaulted? Groped?

And why didn't she tell me?

Should I look into it?

Should I wait for her to tell me?

Jennie turned around at the entrance and I knew she could see me through the one way glass.

She raised her hand and gave a small wave before turning around.

I swallowed.

I'll wait.

You would think being a doctor meant you got to save lives and shit.

No...instead I'm stuck in an overall very boring meeting about adding new places for fire extinguishers.

Okay...I get that's important but...

DOES THE MEETING HAVE TO BE AN HOUR AND A HALF?!

I was pinching myself awake.

I felt a finger tap on my thigh.

I looked at Tae sitting beside me.

He handed me a Hershey Kiss underneath the table.

I glanced around before quietly opening the wrapper and popping it into my mouth.

I saw his lips kick up in a smile before he directed his attention back to the speaker.

Once the meeting was over 15 minutes later, I thanked him.

He just shook his head and walked out.

I shrugged and went to my small office in a corner of the hospital.

I was clicking through some updates I had to make on some patients before I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in."

Tae popped in with his usual charming smile.

"Hey, Dr.Kim."

I blinked. Tae was 4 years younger than me and while he was nearly 30, his boyish hair and body made him look much younger.

I nodded. "What can I help you with?"

He combed a hand through his hair. "Well...um...I got you lunch."

He gently placed a paper bag on my desk.

I nodded again. "Thanks Dr.Kim. I appreciate it."

Then he stood there with his hands fidgeting with his lab coat.

I slowly took the food out. "Is there anything else you needed?"

He shook his head. "Have a good day, Dr.Kim."

"You too." I replied back without looking at him.

I heard him sigh and leave.

I frowned. What's up with him?
