A/N I legit have awful trypanophobia.

You were awoken to your girlfriend rubbing your shoulder. "Good morning, Y/N, it's time to get ready for the day!" You felt fine until you remembered that you had an appointment to get a vaccine today.

"Taylor, I have to get a shot today, I can't do this." Your stomach was doing flips from being so nervous for today.

She took your hands and pulled you up to the edge of the bed. "You can do this babe; I know you can. You know this is good for you right?"

You replied with shame, "I know this is a thing that's good for my health, but needles just make me scared awfully for no reason."

Taylor gave you a nice big hug, her gentle hand rubbing your back. "I understand, but you can do this my brave kitten." With a kiss on the lips, she walked off into the closet and emerged with a Tee shirt and leggings. She was already dressed but wanted to grab something for you.

You grabbed the clothes and put them on, your hands starting to tremble with the anxiety surrounding your appointment this morning.

Taylor watched you change with a small smile on her face. Once you were done, she led you to the kitchen where there was a bowl of fruit and a smoothie for you. You sat down and began to eat but your appetite was not very good.

When you were done eating Taylor grabbed your hand.

"Y/N, you ready to go babe?"

"No."

"Come on, be strong for me." She took you to the car and you two set off for the doctors.  You stared out the window as your anxious thoughts only intensified. Taylor squeezed your trembling hand as she turned on the radio.

Anti-Hero played through the car speakers and just as the song concluded, your car pulled up into the parking lot.

"Come on my kitten it will be so quick," Taylor said to you while you walked out of the vehicle. You and her walked up to the door and with her hand that wasn't around you she opened up the doors to the sterile environment.

Approaching the desk near the door, you said to the woman at the front desk, "I'm checking in for Y/N Y/L/N."

She kindly told you, "Go wait in the waiting room and someone will get you when it's your time."

"Thank you." The two of you walked into the waiting room, choosing two green chairs next to each other.

Taylor smiled at you and rubbed your thighs with her gentle hands. "You can do this." You are so happy that she was so kind to you about this. Your fear of needles was so big and there was always so much anxiety around them.

"Y/N." You and Taylor walked back to the room, and they had you sit down in an empty room. Taylor could see what was going on in your head as you tapped your leg on the tile floor.

"Everything is going to be okay honey." Right after she said that a nurse came in the room with a giant needle. You squirmed in your seat and started to stand up to run away. Taylor pulled you into her lap and held you tight.

The nurse came closer to you, and you tried the best you could to run out of your girlfriend's arms.

"Shh hun it's all gonna be okay." She comforted you while you cried, the nurse was wiping off your arm with the anti-bacterial wipe and the wetness made you terrified.

You wanted to try your best for Taylor, you shoved your head into her chest and put your arm out. You barely felt the shot, but shots are just so scary for you.

After the nurse but the bandage on and told you to go,  Taylor stood up and gave you a proper hug.

"You did it! I'm so proud of you! I know that was hard," she said while walking out of the building.

"Thanks Taylor, it's pretty stupid."

She gasped at that. "It is not stupid. It is a real fear that many people have, and you were so brave today. I love you so much Y/N, you were really awesome."

You two kissed properly on the lips before getting in the car.

"I love you too Taylor, you saying that means a lot."
