Chapter 18: "It Will Only Make Me Stronger"

Gremory Summerhome, Bathhouse

Meanwhile, Rias, Issei, Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, and Asia were currently in the bathhouse of the Gremory Summerhome after their very first day of training before the Rating Game with Riser Phenex.

Akeno: This was such a good idea. We haven't done this in forever.

Rias: I hope it melts away some of the fatigue of training at least. You've all been working so hard.

Akeno: I have no doubt this will do the trick.

Asia and Koneko were showering in the background, envious of Rias and Akeno's well developed bodies, and Issei was on the other see trying to develop x-ray vision to peep at the girls through the wall.

As they continued to bath, Rias noticed the disappointed look on Akeno's face.

Rias: What's wrong, Akeno? You seem a little sad.

Akeno: Oh, it's...it's nothing.

Rias: I'm guessing you're sad that Kagari went off to train on his own instead of coming with us, aren't you?

Akeno: Well, maybe just a little bit. I find myself missng his cute face...

Rias: You've never told me, but why do you like him so much?

Akeno: Sorry Rias, but that's my personal little secret....

Back to Kagari...

Akeno: But I wonder how he's doing right now?

Igris was now standing over an unconscious Kagari who was sitting on the throne that he was meant to guard.

Kagari: "n...n..."

Seeing this, Igris opened his hand and his sword came back to him as he was ready to cut off Kagari's head.

Kagari: N-No...

As the sword reached his neck, Kagari quickly raised his arm and grabbed the sword with his bare hand.
