Days have passed since our trip to New York. I had woken up tangled in Kate's arms and our legs intertwined.
This was everything I ever wanted.
My eyes fluttered open to see Kate's chin resting on my head as she scrolled through Instagram on her phone.
Her eyes caught mine and she gave me a smile.
"Good morning beautiful." She said.
"Good morning." I said.
She kissed my forehead and brought my body closer into her.
I now felt her breath on my neck, sending chills down my body.
I watched Kate's phone as she switched between different apps.
"So, what's your plan for today?" Kate asked.
"Staying right here all day." I said.
Kate laughed, knowing she had a busy day of practice ahead of her and I had a busy day of studying.
"Honestly I have to go through some of my pictures before I choose which ones to delete so I can free up space." I said.
"Don't delete the ones of me." Kate said.
"I could never."

As much as I loved being able to stay with Kate and even Caitlin, I belonged with Annie.
Annie is my forever best friend I wouldn't let anything tear us apart. She was my other half, my twin flame, my best friend.
I couldn't function properly without her.
That afternoon I packed my bag and headed back to where I was meant to be. Home. With Annie.
I stepped into my apartment, Annie grabbed my bag from me and placed it on the floor. Then she grabbed me and pulled me into a huge hug.
"Never let this happen again." I said.
"Never again." Annie whispered.
