The day we presented Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, it struck me just how Will and I were like them. We hadn't had any family feud. We'd had a drug dealer. But our story was hopeful, with the tragedy lying underneath. We needed each other and we lived because of each other. We needed love to save us. Unlike Romeo and Juliet, love didn't destroy us. It didn't make anything worse.
Shakespeare was wrong. Love didn't fuel tragedy, it made it all better. Everything could heal if only there was love.
