Iqraam 

okay so i admit that i was a little insecure to let her go all alone to a place that once hurt her so i came here as well- 

now i had to face a fuming Ruqayyah and all i was doing was praying to Allah that she would not be angry at me 

and i managed to handle her 

as we walked downstairs, we came to a halt at the base of the stairs 

what. the. heck?

Shumayll was seated beside Iqra, and they were not fighting, but that did not shock us- 

what shocked us was the fact that Ruqayyah's mother was feeding them snacks, her father was chatting animately with Shumayll who looked like he was trapped and her sister was smiling down at Iqra and eyeing Shumayll 

in short- her family were being hospitable towards them and this freaked my best friend and sister out- 

Ruqayyah looked up to me and i shrugged 

how was i suppose to know what was happening?

"Whats going on?" asked Ruqayyah as she walked into the living room 

her mother looked up and smiled at Ruqayyah 

"Oh- they are our guests, Ruqayyah! We must treat them nicely- now dear Iqraam, would you like some breakfast?" she asked me and my gaze shifted to Ruqayyah and she sighed 

"Fine i will make him something" she said and her mother nodded

"Uzma, help your sister!" she said and then ushered me to the living room 

Iqra grinned at me and Shumayll coughed 

"So Iqraam, what do you do?" asked her father eyeing me 

"Umm...... i make and modify cars" i said taking a piece of samosa that Iqra was offering me 

"Ohh- so i heard you race too?" he asked me and i silently nodded my head 

"We deal mainly in race cars" i said after i finished eating my samosa 

food first!

"Ohh- and what do you do, young man?" he asked Shumayll and Shumayll grinned at him 

"I work....... at a tech company" he replied smirking at me 

liar! 

god this guy!

well he was right in a way- he did work for the Edris Tech company except he was the CEO 

"Oh.. and you, dear?" he asked Iqra and she smiled politely 

"I am a designer- college student" she replied and he nodded

"Oh come on- eat more dears!!" he said pushing plates towards us 

"Get up, people- breakfast is ready" called out Ruqayyah and we looked up 

Shumayll lit up with the thought of food, Iqra slapped his head and he whined but did not fight- wow they were being civilized!
