Curiosity killed the cat

Curiosity killed the cat.

But here will it kill a security personnel or not?

Once a guard was on his night shift alone.

He saw a small boy staring at the surveillance camera in the cellar.

First the guard ignored it thinking that the boy might be looking for something stuck on the wall.

But when he checked again after half an hour then that boy was still staring at the camera.

The curious and a bit frightened guard decided to go and check out what's the matter with that boy for he should be at his home as it was pretty late at night.

He went there with his torch.

When he reached the cellar he was surprised to find it locked, he wondered how did the boy get in?

But as soon as he entered the cellar, the door closed itself and would not even open through it's key.

The guard kept banging the door the whole night and dozed off sobbing and shaking with fear.

When he woke up, it was dawn and he was surprised to see the door unlocked this time.

He rushed out and ran to his booth.

There he found a note which made him resign from his job.

The note said-

"Curiosity killed the cat. This may prove true the next time."
