He regretted buying that mansion.
He had lost his wife and his step son there.
His son had been sacrificed in some satanic ritual. His wife had hanged herself leaving a note saying, she was offering her soul to the devil.
Devastated he sat down at his study table and wrote in his journal.
The fifth child was successfully sacrificed. The mother had to be killed for she saw me in the ritual.
After finishing, he rose and went away to have dinner with his newly married wife and her daughter.
Time to find another haunted mansion.
