Mysterious Friend

As a little she started getting those candies and cookies as gifts from a 'friend'.

Even during her school and college years flowers and chocolates and other gifts continued to arrive at her doorstep.

On her wedding day, she received a big parcel with a note addressed to her-

" I sent those gifts as a token of my love, waiting for you to come. But you never came. Maybe they weren't enough for you are choosing a stranger over me.
As a last try I am sending my most precious gift, My soul, darling is all you'd."

Inside that box was a perfectly preserved corpse of her aged neighbour. Inside the box was the crazy pedophile. Inside that box was her 'mysterious friend'.
