Ryder POV
The next day I woke up laying down in my bed alone, Kayden was gone. I sat up and I saw a note on my dark wooden nightstand. It was Kayden's handwriting
Dear Ryder,
Last night I watch you sleep so peacefully and I could help but think that you were too good for me. I wish I could stay and be the first to say happy birthday in person but I have a meeting to attend to, so a note will do.
Happy birthday Ryder, I'll see you soon

I smiled at the note and today Rylan and I finally turned Eighteen! I place the note down and run left to the room next to mine, which is Rylans. I knock On the door excitedly and Rylan opened it.
"Happy Birthday!" we both shouted and hugged each other. I laughed and he chuckled.
"We're finally eighteen!" I shouted
"I know" he said and pulled away from the hug. I saw his violet eyes lit up, I see Demi walk behind him and smiled
"What's going on?" she said
"Oh nothing, she was just wishing me-"
"Happy birthday" she said and hug him, he chuckled and laughed. She pulled away and turn to me.
"Can I speak to Ryder alone?" Demi said and he nodded he walked back into the room and she looked at me, she shrugged and crossed her arm across her chest
"Hi" I said confuse that she told Rylan That she Had to speak to me alone
"I know we haven't spoke to each other but it's because you intimidate me and it's very hard to do that" she said
"I intimidate you?" I said and smirk a little I intimidated her without even trying, I cleared my throat and spoke to her "well I am sorry that I'm intimidate you and for smirking, but you don't have to. I won't bite" I joked.
She smiled shyly and hugged me "happy birthday" she whispered I thanked her and Rylan came out. We all walk down stairs together and to the kitchen
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" my family shouted they had Rylan and I's favorite flavored cake. Chocolate. We smiled and thanked them, they all hugged us and Rylan and I blew the candles out. Once We had our breakfast and cake, Demi, Hazel and I walked to my room.
"So Ryder what are you going to do for your birthday?" Hazel asked
"Yeah, are you going out with Kayden?" Demi asked
"Yeah, he wants me to meet his parents" I said excitedly
"Really?" Hazel said
"Yeah....but they won't like me" I said worriedly i couldn't believe he wants me to meet his parents, I was so nervous
"Yes they will" Demi said and everything got quite, I realized something different about Hazel.....Her scent it's completely different.
"Hazel? Did you mated my brother?" I asked her she blushed and nodded.
"what was it like?" Demi asked
"It was the most beautiful thing to do with your mate" she said and sighed dramatically "he was so gentle and when he marked me it was like.....i'm his completely and he's mine completely. The jealously is gone" she said
"Really? I think I want to see Rylan jealous" Demi said and smiled wickedly, I chuckled
"So your not ready?" I asked her
"No. I'm not and I told him and he said that he's not ready either" she smiled
"I don't know if I am ready or not" I whispered to myself
