You're POV:
"This is Shawn Mendes everyone. He came all the way from Canada. Treat him nicely" Mrs. Morales says to the class. "Shawn why don't you choose a seat" she says. He just nods and looks around the room. He starts walking towards the seat next to me. As soon as he sits down i turn towards him. "Hi I'm y/n nice to meet you" I say. "Shawn, you too" he says smiling. I just smile back and turn towards the front of the room. As soon as the bell rings we go our separate ways.
      ~~skip to lunch~~
I walk into the lunch room hearing a lot of commotion. "Fight, fight, fight" I hear everyone chanting. I make my way through the crowd and see Shawn and, the bad boy of the school, Connor Jackson. "What Mendes, you scared. Awww poor baby" Connor says taunting Shawn. Shawn just shakes his head looking away. "Connor shut the hell up and get away from him" I step in. "Whatever" he mutters and walks away. "Are you ok" I ask Shawn once I'm in front of him. He just nods and doesn't look at me. I grab his hand and pull him towards the football field. I lead him through some bushes between the locker room and the forest. "Where are we going" he says. I just ignore him and keep going. Once we reach our destination I stop and let him take it in. "I set this up right before I came into the cafeteria, I wanted to have a picnic with you and get to know you" I say shyly. "Like a date" he says with a smirk. "Umm I guess, I mean if you want it to be" o say blushing. "I do" he says smiling. He walks towards the picnic and starts taking everything out. "Thanks" he says. Already knowing what he's talking about I answer with "Anytime Mendes" taking a bite of my sandwich. All through lunch we laughed and got to know each other. I'd say this 'date' went pretty good!
