And I am back! Been busy with stuff, so couldn't type chaoter even though it was written already. So I have concluded that updating twice a week won't be possible, but I will try to update every week for sure.

As Viren returned from his jogging session, he saw his parents having tea in the garden. He has been witnessing the same scenario since past 3 months.

'Just look at this old man! Trying to woo my mother again and again and tells me to take it slow.'

---------- Flashback ----------

After Jeevika left to bring masala tea before the introductory meeting, Naren began,

"I appreciate that you are making efforts to get to know her and I am  happy to see your genuineness. You need to understand one thing though.Viren, I know your intentions are pure but also consider her point of view. You are her boss. And you have just met each other. Besides she is shy, and if you go all out she'll be overwhelmed and not know how to react. So think through before you take any actions or say anything. I may have not shared this before but people in our office do think that I favor her. And I do admit, she is someone dear to me. I do have a soft spot for her. But it's also something that has never been a problem for me since she has always had dedication towards her work. My relationship with her has not afected her work in anyway. If they see the same attitude from you, things will go on a whole new level. And in future if she does become my daughter in real sense which I really hope for to happen, people may just talk about her as if she trapped you into marrying her and we don't want that do we?"

"Yes, dad I get it. But then, how do I go about this? I mean, I admit I am attracted to her and it's not just physical, I have been hearing about her from you even before you mentioned about the proposal. I can't help but want to take our relationship ahead without any further delay."

"I understand. But she is not aware of any of this. How can we then expect her to fall for you who she sees as her boss like she should?"

"You're right. I am hurrying too much. And it's better to take it slow rather than making a bad impression."

"Good. Besides, isn't this the reason why you own my office now! So take this chance and make steady progress in a slow manner. You have to be her boss first, earn her respect and trust. Then you can move on to something close to friendship because it may seem harsh but it's a fact that even though she may start seeing you in the light that we want, she won't reveal it. In fact she will try to get rid of those feelings thinking it's wrong. So don't strain your limits."

Hearing his ending words, viren couldn't help but feel distressed/distraught. Of course he already knew it was going to be something like this but hearing it from his dad was another thing.

----------------------------------------------

But this time, it seemed a bit different. And he actually felt good about it. Seeing his parents romancing each other only made him long for it. But then he also understood his father's point. And the fact that he agreed with it only added to his frustration. And he feared, that he would vent it out on Jeevika. He wasn't sure, how long he would be able to keep up with it. So when he saw that his parents were arguing for once, poor guy got a much needed break from his misery. Of course he couldn't resist knowing what had caused his parents to argue who are too busy romancing all the time.

"I can't wait to meet her Naren! You fool, because of you I lost the opportunity. I could have brought tiffin for you and met her in the office itself. We could have had some mother-daughter chit chat."

And the father son duo could literally see hearts in her eyes apparently due to the dream world she had entered for a while. But before they could relax, she came back to reality even more angry than before.

"But no! You are such a possessive father that you won't share her with anybody. And now, I have to depend on my son to meet her, who is moving at a pace that would put tortoise to shame. So I have decided, I am going to meet her tomorrow itself, whether you like it or not."

Hearing her words, both father n son went into shocks like expected but for totally opposite reasons. Both couldn't help but stare at her open mouthed. They tried to say something but nothing came out, and Priya was provided with a comical sight of the duo opening and closing their mouths again and again.

After a while, Naren came out of his stupor. Before saying something he looked at his son to support whatever he was going to say but today was not his day it seemed, for Viren was already into his lala land planning postmarriage dates with Jeevika. Planning places for honeymoon wasn't excluded either. Viren knew that once Priya took matter into her own hands, things would move at much faster pace.

Naren sighed,
"But Priya, I already met her only because I am her boss. And, now Viren is the only one who gets Jeevika's attention. She forgot me."

Hearing her name obviously was the code word to bring Viren back to the reality. Seeing his parents bicker over such things was something new for him. He had never seen them argue even playfully. But then, he couldn't really blame his mom either. His Jeevika was such a person that anybody would get lost in her charms. Yes, his he has already decided she's going to be his wife ASAP.

"She hasn't forgotten about you at all dad. In fact, she asks about you everyday."

'I am not telling this oldie, that his name is the only thing that makes her talk with me freely and casually.'

"And mom, you too have reasons to brag about. She always asks about your health and literally has a list of recipies she wants to learn from you."

'I can't tell her that, I found the list accidentally while going through the files she brought for me to sign.'

"I must say mom, your idea of sharing tiffin in lunch break worked like magic. We are quite closer than before now."

"Maska maarne se kaam nahi chalega. Mujhe aur kuch nahi sunna. Maine teh kar liya hai. Iss mahine ke pure hone se pehle, woh hamare ghar mein bahu bankar kadam rakhegi. ( Don't try buttering me. I won't hear anything else. I have decided. Before this month end she will step into this house as my daughter-in-law. )

And like the queen she was, Priya declared her decision in a tone that made it clear that the decision was not up for discussion. But our king has to at least give it a try. So he tries to make her understand,

"But Priya -"

"Agar Jeevika ke dil mein Viren ke liye thodi si bhi jagah hai, toh iss hafte hum shaadi ki baat aage badhayenge.Kya karna hai, kaise karna hai woh aap dono dekh lijiye ga. Agar woh bhi aapse na ho payega, toh mai khud kar lungi. ( If Jeevika likes Viren even a bit, then we will take things to next level this week. What should we do, and how should we proceed, is upto you guys. If you're not up to this simple task also, then I will do it myself. )

Seeing that convincing her was in vain, he asked his son for help.

"Viren, tum toh..." (Viren, atleast you..)

"Sorry, Dad. But I am with mom on this one. I am really tired of hearing Sir from her mouth now. I can't wait to hear her call me by my name."

'In more ways than one.'
