-Two months later-

It was a month before the end of Chloe's freshmen year when the guidance counselor sent her home with a letter. She found her parents in the kitchen and said "here Ms Hill told me to give this to you." as she sat down at the counter top.

"Are you in trouble?' Joe said as Sarah opened it

"Um I'm Chloe not Steve." she said

"Dear Parents of Chloe J. B. Rogers

We would like to hold a meeting to discuss your child's current academic status. As we have looked over her academics over the course of the year we need to look into other options that are better suited for her. We are holding a meeting on Friday at 145PM with her teachers. Please contact me if that day is not good for you.

Ms Maria Hill"

Sarah read the letter out loud and Joe said "Better suited for her. What the heck? She takes AP classes and has a 4.0 GPA how much more suited does she need."

"I don't know" Chloe said as she started to do her homework.

"I guess we will find out on Friday." Sarah said

"I hope that they aren't wanting to put you in some fancy smart people school cause we don't have the funds for that." Joe said as he kissed Chloe's head and said "I gotta get back to the station."

"Bye dad love you." she said

"Love you too." Joe said as he walked out the door.

"Okay homework is all done." Chloe said

"Chloe you just started 5 minutes ago." Sarah said

"I know I only had algebra tonight." she said

"Sometimes I wonder about you but then again you look like me." Sarah said

Chloe smiled and said "I know." then she took her school stuff upstairs.

Two days later Chloe was sitting in the meeting with her teachers and parents as well as the superintendent and guidance counselor and principal.

"Okay hi everyone I'm superintendent James Rhodes we have called this meeting because this exceptional young lady Miss Chloe Rogers has outstanding academic excellence. So outstanding that it has been brought to my attention that the curriculum that we have for our lower class men isn't challenging enough for her." Mr Rhodes said

Maria started to pass out Chloe's grades for each class. "As you can see her grades are well above average which is great I hope you know that Chloe. This isn't a bad thing this is a great thing it means you are incredibly gifted. But we have learned in the past that if a student isn't being challenged enough they will become bored and pull away. " Maria said

Sarah said "So what are you suggesting?'

"Skipping a grade letting her start her junior year a year early." Mr Rhodes said

"Would that be better for her academically?' Joe said

"Yes it would challenge her more. The upper class men's curriculum is different from the lower. She would benefit from it. Tell me something how quickly does she get done with her homework." Mr Rhodes said

"Very quickly. Unlike her brother who would spend hours doing his homework she's done in 30 minutes or less." Sarah said

"See she already knows the information to do her homework." her history Ms Thomas said
