[ 3rd person pov ]

as classes came to an end, jisung quickly packed up his bag, saying bye to felix who needed to go for dance practice. wanting to leave the school, he left in quick steps and walked towards the gate, only to see minho leaning against the wall at the exit. he walked forward to minho and stood beside him, as his presence became known to minho.

"hey cutie, let's go," minho said. jisung's heart unknowingly fluttered, as his cheeks heated up. however, he still signed, "where to?" he looked up at minho only to be met with his smile, as minho replied, "let's go have some fun. there's a playground nearby, you fine with that?" jisung nodded happily without hesitation.

as minho noticed the crowd coming towards them from behind jisung, he grabbed jisung's hand and quickened his steps. jisung followed behind, noticing that their hands were wrapped around each other's. he smiled, and continued to follow minho behind.

after seeing that they were far away from the school, they slowed down, hands still together. jisung looked at their hands, not planning to tell minho, as they continued walking with minho in the lead.

"his hands are so warm," jisung thought.

"we're here," minho said. he paused in his footsteps as he smiled to jisung. they walked towards the playground together, then sitting on the twin slides meant for kids. the silence in the air with a few sounds from the atmosphere thickened, as minho tried to find something to talk about and as jisung was in deep thought. then jisung, raised his hands, as he signed, "thank you, for this morning."

minho shook his head, "it's alright. but can i ask you a question? it's fine if you don't want to answer."

jisung nodded, gesturing minho to ask.

"have people in the school... not seen you... before?" minho asked with hesitance. jisung smiled, before signing, "no, except those who've been in the same class as me i guess. i don't really like to socialise with seniors or juniors. i usually come to school early."

"oh, then why were you waiting at the gate for me today?" minho asked.

"i wanted your phone number," jisung signed with a small pout on his face.

"aw jisung," minho said as he ruffled his hair. "you didn't have to wait for me for that, we could've met during lunch." jisung nodded, realising how his own actions put him in that position this morning. "don't do anything, that could harm yourself, understand?" minho said, kind eyes piercing through jisung. minho definitely did not want jisung to get hurt. his concern for the boy made him think, "you're concerned because he's your friend, nothing wrong with that." minho smiled, knowing that jisung was aware that he cared for him.

"thank you for everything minho," jisung signed, his heart beat increasing.

"anything for you jisung," minho said, failing to decrease the pace of his heart beat.
