Secretly Loving Him [MewGulf]

"Guuuuuulf~ Waaah I missed you over the weekend. By the way, how was the moving? How was the new house?"

It's Monday and Gulf has just arrived at school. Mild welcomed his morning being all energetic but the other guy seems to be having this "Monday Blue". He's not in the mood. He's feeling lazy. And most importantly, he doesn't want to talk anything about moving or the what-not. He'll end up remembering Mew and their fight yesterday, that's why. 

"Hey, did you not like your new house? Tell me something about it."

But Gulf just took his seat, put his bag on his desk and rested his head on it. Somehow, he's kinda feeling empty for some reasons. 

They are not talking. He even skipped breakfast today just to avoid Mew. For sure his parents are looking for him since he didn't join them the dinner last night, and now the breakfast.

But no matter how much he run away from Mew, there will still come a time that he will have to face him. Just like today.

"Psst. Your P'Mew has just arrived. Aren't you going to greet him?

Hello?"

He just buried his face even more on his bag. Right, they are seatmates. And no matter how much he avoids him, it will be impossible since they are just sitting next to each other.

Mew is very much aware that Gulf's reaction would be this. He didn't mean to make things this worse. If he can even go back to that time, he will take back what he said. No, he would have just left, together with his family so that the incident wouldn't have happened.

Mew just took his seat. He is thinking of apologizing to Gulf. The matter should be cleared right away or else, it will just get more awkward. He's going to invite Gulf outside the classroom. But just when he's about to call Gulf, he's already been called by someone else. He lost the chance so he just took out his phone and played with it.

"Hey, Gulf. Good morning."

It was Podd. He's overflowing with bright energy as well, like Mild. But he is good as dead. And Podd noticed it right away. He immediately dragged the zombie kid outside the classroom. Gulf couldn't do anything about it. He doesn't want to use his remaining energy so he just followed Podd. 

And where are they heading?

The canteen.

"Nothing can boost up a lonely man but food."

Gulf was so impressed by the kindness of Podd. He's so warm. He can see through what others feel, unlike the other guy he knows. 

He shook his head. He doesn't want to think about that cold-hearted guy. It will just ruin his mood, now that Podd is trying his best to lighten up his mood.

"This is Podd. And I bet P'Mew doesn't know how kind Podd is. Aish. I know he's my crush but hearing him say those stupid things to this wonderful guy, I just can't help but hate him. How could he!"

Actually, he's been thinking overnight to just disregard his feelings for Mew. To just uncrush him. To unlike him. But hearts truly cannot be taught just like that, cannot be ordered to do something against it. In short, he didn't succeed. Because no matter what happen, he will still be the only Mew for him. But of course, it doesn't exempt him for what he did to Podd. He should learn his lesson first.

"Thanks, Podd." Gulf said as soon as he received an iced coffee and a sandwich from Podd. 

"Oh this. Just be sure to treat me next time, okay? There's nothing free now."

Gulf was a little shocked when he heard Podd. He thought it was his treat but turns out he still needs to pay him back next time. Podd laughed at Gulf's reaction. It literally showed the feeling of being backstabbed.
