Chapter 22- To Be Called A Shinobi

*Yume's POV*

I woke up in this weird dark room. It was, yes, gloomy.

I got up and started walking around the place, investigating it until I unexpectedly found Sasuke laying down on a table, sleeping with his eyes wrapped in bandages.

"I wonder whose eyes he's transplanting..." I mumbled then I smiled before walking out of that room and found the exit to this place which I'm guessing is Madara's hideout. 

I summoned my crow, Ame to get some info about the disturbance I'm feeling in the air. More or less, she was also disturbed and had absolutely no idea. 

I used Shisui-san's jutsu and teleported to Shikamaru to have some stuff explained to me and what do you know, my team was together, standing in front of what looks like Naruto in the Kyuubi. I'm guessing that's what they're fighting

They were wearing weird headbands, shinobi in all the villages were fighting a hell lot of Zetsus, and also...dead people?

"Yume! What on earth are you doing here?!" Shikamaru asked

"Well, I felt a disturbance in the air and teleported to you Shikamaru to have it explained to me, but it seems I should leave now..." I said

"Your timing couldn't be better!" Chouji said

"We'll explain after this is done, okay? Just help us out for now!" Ino said

"Yeah I guess...sure" I sighed then got into position

"Everyone, cover them!" Darui shouted then all of the shinobi started throwing kunai at the fox who used his tails and blocked the attacks. 

Unlucky for him, he let his guard down and didn't notice the kunai with paper bombs coming, but they didn't land a scratch on him. The smoke was good enough for Chouji to go in unnoticed as a boulder and push the fox back. 

"Ino, link your mind to mine. I'll tell you when to use your jutsu" I said then Ino obeyed and linked us. I began watching the fox's movements with my Sharingan, looking for the perfect chance to attack. 

The fox lifted Chouji and threw him away as Shikamaru stretched his shadow and caught him. Unfortunately, The fox snapped Shikamaru's shadow and broke free. I made an arrow with the Amaterasu flames and shot it right through him. He regenerated quickly which made it better to me.

'Ino, I'll  draw his attention to me and when I tell you, you go'

'Got it!'

I leapt upwards then made the hand seals for the fire ball jutsu which put him on guard. Luckily, he's an idiot who put all his attention on me. 

'Do it'

Ino did the mind transfer and slipped her mind into him.

"Kinkaku!" Darui shouted

Ino was started to get sucked into this gourd or something. It seemed like foxy was trying to break free from Ino's control, but Ino had the upper hand.

He got sucked into the gourd and Ino came out of his mind last second

"Welcome back and great work out there" I smiled

"Thanks, Yume" Ino smiled back

We got Chouji back and went sat on a rock to check on him before continuing

"For being scared, you did pretty well, Chouji" Ino told him

"I feel like I've lost a ton of weight from all that cold sweat" Chouji said sadly

"That was just a feeling. You look just fine, same as always" Shikamaru assured

"Now, will you tell me what is going on?" I smiled as my former teammates sweatdropped
