*Yume's POV*
I woke up in the battlefield and saw everyone covered in some wood bandage thing or whatever that is.
My top priority was to find Sasuke and I'm grateful for my past self for marking him, which made finding him a lot easier.
I found him with Naruto and the bijuu and...
....with a missing arm.
"I leave you for a little bit, and I come back to find you one-armed?"
"Sorry..." Sasuke said, sweat dropping
"Sorry won't bring back your goddamn arm!"
"Sorry for saying sorry..?"
"Oh Tsunade-sama, we have a dumbass here and we need to make an artificial arm for him!"
"It's really weird watching you get scolded by your sister, Sasuke"
"THE SAME GOES TO YOU TOO NARUTO!"
-Time skip-
The war was no more.
Funerals were held in all the villages.
Kakashi was named the Sixth Hokage.
Sasuke was imprisoned.
Guy-sensei won't ever be able to walk again as a consequence of using the eighth gate.
Shikamaru became the Hokage's assistant.
And Naruto became the world's hero and was going to get another arm or something like that.
I went to see Sasuke today with a little gift for him.
"Hey, Sasuke~" I called as I walked into his cell
His vision was sealed and he was restrained and couldn't move.
"Is that you, Imouto?" He asked and I hummed in response
"I came to keep you company and got you tomatoes" I said softly which made a whole smile rise on his face
I sat down beside him and started feeding him his tomatoes slowly. I spent the whole day with him to the point that I actually fell asleep while sitting beside him. When I woke up it was morning and Sasuke was no longer restrained or had sealed vision
He was going to depart this afternoon which made me kinda sad because it was so sudden. But I still went to see him
"By rights, you should be in prison right now. But we have heard your plea and all of your actions up to now have been pardoned. Breaking the jutsu for the infinite Tsukuyomi played a big part in the decision. As well as the fact that I happened to become the sixth hokage, and Yume being the village's interm Hokage and Lady fifth's successor, and Naruto, the key figure in ending the war, all testified on your behalf. Don't forget that. And please don't get too reckless. Otherwise, I'll be held responsible" Kakashi said
"Understood. Thank you" Sasuke said
"Must you go? The artificial arm Tsunade-sama is creating will soon-" Sakura started
"I need time to understand my feelings. How should I view the shinobi world, this world. Perhaps I'll be able to see things I couldn't before. Also, there's something I'm worried about" Sasuke said then walked to me and gave me a hug
"Now, don't make such a sad face, Imouto. Otherwise, I'll feel bad" Sasuke said softly then I handed him his bentos
"Your lunch for today" I said
"Thanks" He smiled then patted my head gently before kissing it
"The arm Tsunade-sama is making is almost done. Come back in about 4 days or I'll personally drag you back to transplant the arm" I smiled then Sasuke giggled
"Your tone and what you're saying never add up, Yume" Sasuke chuckled before taking my hand in his, and placing something in it.
I looked down at the palm of my hand and saw a small pill bottle, "Sasuke-?"
"It's medicine for your illness... I had Orochimaru make it for you.."
My eyes immediately widened at his statement before he pulled me into a hug.
"I'll be careful... If you run out, just tell me and I'll get you more" He murmured into my hair then pulled away
"At least you should've went and visited Itachi. He gets really lonely when I'm the only one who visits him everyday" I pouted then he poked my forehead. I grunted slightly and rubbed the area he poked.
"Maybe next time...Thank you"
