chapter 3

It's new years eve and the 118 have planned and all agreed to go out for new years eve. It took eddie some convincing but after buck talked and told him christopher will be alright he finally agreed. Buck doesn't go out much anymore because of cesiah and his job so he thought a night out won't hurt. They plan on going to the karaoke bar.

Buck gets ready and puts on blue jeans and a button up shirt. He greets nicole when she comes over. He grabs his keys and wallet he already put cesiah down for the night. He fills in nicole and then leaves getting in his jeep.

He gets to the bar 30 minutes later because of traffic. He finds eddie and the 118 sitting at a table. He orders a beer then goes over.

Eddie spots buck first as soon as he walks in. He takes his attention off of chimney and maddie talking about some music thing. He is not completely sure what they were talking about to begin with.

Buck gets to the table and eddie is the first to greet him. They say hello than the rest greeting buck.

"So how's christopher?" hen ask eddie with a smile on her face. Eddie turns his head towards hen from staring off at the wall not paying much attention.

" uhh He's fine" eddie says looking at hen.

Chimney looks at maddie and ask "how's cesiah"

Maddie eddie and buck look at each other

"Oh she's great" maddie says smiling just going along with them not knowing.

''Want to play pool?" buck ask the table, changing the conversation.

They all agree and head over to the pool table eddie and buck playing while the others talk. Hen starts talking about denny and harry which leads to eddie talking about christopher.

"How old is cesiah" hen ask looking over at maddie

Maddie looks at buck then smiles and looks towards hen "she turns 3 in march".

"When denny was that age he wanted to believe he could do anything by himself," hen said laughing.

Eddie and buck look at each other. It has been a few weeks since eddie has known about cesiah and she has grown to adore christopher but buck knows he needs to tell the team soon he knows he can't have them thinking she's maddies daughter that's unfair to her and buck knows it. He just hasn't found the time or a opportinuty to tell them. It's not something he can casually bring up knowing that they might be a little upset he didn't tell them, especially chimney.

Mddie looks back over at buck and gives him a stern look. "She hasn't hit the stage yet she's a pretty chill kid as far as it comes to buckleys"

Maddie and chimney get called for their turn to sing. Buck sighs of relief he knows he definitely needs to tell them soon.

Buck and eddie finish their game and bobby takes bucks spot. Buck going over, taking a drink of his beer then sitting down.

After maddie and chimney finishes their song she comes back over and tries to convince buck to sing. Buck doesn't have the worst singing voice he's heard but definitely not a good one either.

After some convincing buck finally agreed to do it only if eddie did it with him maddie gave eddie her best puppy dog eyes so he agreed.

Once their turn was up the team made their way to the closest table while buck and eddie got on the mini stage. Buck jokingly decided on before he cheats by carrie underwood. If he was going to do this he is going all in and mainly to see eddie and maddies reaction.
