Part 16

Anastasia's Perspective

It felt a very long time since I and Athy came back here at our Ruby palace-- which actually is, 48 days to be exact. Despite having of rest at papa's I still feel very tired. I don't know about Athy but I think it's in the part where Lucas is going to have a talk with her, much to her displeasure.

From our private chat, she kept on spouting bulls about Lucas that would make me laugh my ass off.

Currently inside my room doing some of my drawings and feeling bored. The natural light and air from my opened door to my balcony gave my mind a presence of peace.

At least.. before the bird then came in as if this is its place.

Looking up from my drawing, the beautiful bird was standing on my desk looking down at my drawing .

I kept saying "it" and it quite bothers me. I don't even know if this bird's a male or a female.

"Are you a boy or a girl?" I asked the bird like the crazy bish I am. Great, I'm talking to a dumb bird. "Ack!!"

"Hey!!" I began swatting my hands over the air as the bird started flying above me and pecking my head hard.

"Stop it!" It didn't listen, making me comically cry. Did I somehow slipped out what I thought when I called this dumb bird "dumb"?!

An angry vein popped on my forehead before managing my temper for this bird. Ah... this is giving me a headache. Slowly, the bird stopped pecking and... sat(?) down back on my desk.

I pointed to the bird, "If you're not dumb then answer my question with these nuts!"

I was eating some walnuts for snacks while I was drawing earlier, now I had three walnuts in hand. I separated two nuts and placed them on my right, the one nut was on my left.

"Alright, take the one nut if you're a male or if you're a female then take the two nuts."

It tilted its head before taking the two nuts. I gasped in delight now that I knew it's gender only to drop the excitement when I saw this bird took the other nut as well.

I glared at it, "I don't know if you're saying you're gay in which I don't mind or if you really are just an ordinary dumb bird."

"Ow!"

I once again comically cried as I held my hand with my index raised because of the throbbing pain. "Stop pecking me!"

Fluttering its way out, it flew out of my room through the balcony doors. I sighed in relief before I closed my sketch pad and walked out my room. During my way to Athy's I greeted some of the maids and acted childish along my way. Besides, I have a lot of stamina for a kid like me. Physically.

I looked ahead and saw two figures of papa and Felix. I called, "Papa! Felix!"

Rushing towards them I noticed the emperor slightly bend down, without thinking I launched and wrapped my arms around his neck for a hug.

"You shouldn't be running down the halls," I heard him say and I beamed, "I just missed you so much papa!" Imagine blooming flowers and radiant colors for an effect as I see him look at me with the same expression he always has but more relaxed. He raised himself with me in his arms.

He moved forward before asking me a question, "Where were you heading earlier?" I pointed my finger towards Athy's door and said, "Ana is on her way to sis's room!"

"Is that so?" He hummed. I turned my attention to Felix who was already looking at me. "How are you feeling Princess Ana?" I smiled back at him and replied, "I'm feeling fine now thanks to boy magician!"
