I've loved you for a long time
I desperately wanted you to be mine
But I knew you didn't feel the same
And holding on would just cause more pain
Eventually things began to change
Another person came my way
But that experience left me confused
Deep down I'm still in love with you
Then seeing you felt different
Some feelings went missing
Things began to fade
The love is slowly going away
Sometimes I miss the things I felt
And I think some of it is still held
Faded love has last for so long
Why is it so hard to move on?
