Her smiles used to not be lies
Hopelessness wasn't felt so often
Her wings sparkled and her eyes shined
She was full of life
Until one day she felt an emotion
Something that tripped her feet
She fell, her wings burned, and her heart cracked open
Everything bursted into pieces
She suffered silently
Her soul no longer glowed
People hurt her, and made her feel lonely
She was always left alone with her deadly thoughts
She got used to it as the months went by
And she was never the same
The pain changed her, she accepted her new life
Behind her smile are silent cries for help
