a suprise

lloyd's pov

"where are they?" nya yelled.

  "we are here to help!" zane added.

  spotting garmadon handcuffed with about 15 guards around him, it's hard to believe this man was my father. i turn away from him.

  "the guards already took care of it." i say to nya and zane, motioning towards where garmadon is.

  the warden walks over to us.

  "really?" nya asks, surprised.

  "ninja! thanks for coming, we got it all sorted out."

  we all lower our hoods.

  "well done warden." zane says.

  then another guard walks over and adds, "although, truthfully we couldn't have done it with out harumi."

  wait, what?

  "what do you mean?" nya asks.

  "wasn't harumi one of the prisoners trying to escape?" i ask, confused.

  "we thought so too." the warden said. "but come take a look at the security cams."

  we start following him to there, but just before we leave i get the feeling of eyes on me like someone is watching me. i turn around and spot harumi standing with a guard.

  i glare at her, hold up two fingers to my eyes then gesture and point towards hers. she raises an eyebrow. i leave the room to follow the warden.

that guard was apparently telling the truth.

me, zane and nya all watch in the security room as harumi fights garmadon well more guards handcuff him.

  "i don't get it." nya says. "why the change in heart?"

  "i wish i knew." the warden replied. "she could've been such a help with community service last tuesday!"

  im just as confused as them. probably more.

  first saving the family, then fighting garmadon instead of taking the chance to escape? there's definitely something weird going on here. all these things harumi's been doing just don't add up- it's so out of character for her.

  "i propose going to talk to harumi," zane suggests. "to figure out her motives,"

  "see? im not crazy!" i say. finally, someone else agrees. "something is genuinely going on here, and we need to get to the bottom of it!"
