lloyd's pov

this is the stupidest thing i've ever done.

  i could be stopping garmadon right now, but instead i'm signing autographs!?! i really hope harumi plan works, for her sake as well as mine, so the other ninja will start to trust her. she's really awesome once you get to know her. giving her a second chance was one of the best decisions i've made in awhile.

  i look up at the building where harumi and nya are sitting. harumis wearing nya's old red outfit.

  ...and it looks really good on her.

  a little kid walks up to the autograph table. she's grinning from ear to ear.

  "will you sign my picture?" she asks sweetly.

  "yeah of course," i sigh taking the picture from the girl. my heart freezes when i see what's on it.

  it's a picture taken of the battle i had with my father in kryptarium prison right after he was brought back. the battle i painfully lost.

  i look back up at the girl who's not smiling anymore. then i notice- her eyes are red...

  "hello son." she says in garmadons voice.

  i stand up.

  "i think we found him!" cole says, his mouth full of cake, and he, kai and jay jump up as well, weapons raised.

  "relax, ninja." the girl/garmadon says. "im just here for lloyd."

  the girl transforms into garmadon- growing two extra arms, growing taller and pointy teeth. the crowd behind him backs up, there are some screams. garmadon turns to face them.

  "rude," he says then turns to me and shoots suddenly blast of his powers. i fly back, landing hard on the stage.

  jumping up, i raise my arms, feeling my power travel through my finger tips. i aim at garmadon. he laughs.

  "you think that will stop me?" he asks stepping towards me.

  "no, but this will!" a voice comes from somewhere. kai's red spinjitzu tornado comes from the side aiming right at garmadon, but garmadon doges it easily.

  "word of advice," garmadon says. he shoots kai with his powers, knocking him off balance and sending him toppling to the ground. "don't announce your surprise attacks."

  "get him!"

  me jay and cole start attacking garmadon from all sides. somehow he still holds off all three of us.

  "guys, stop!" harumi says through the earpiece. "you can't fight him!"

  "jee, thanks for the encouragement," jay replies as he tries to shoot garmadon with lightning.

  "she means the fight fuels him!" nya explains. "the more you fight him, the more powerful he becomes!"

  right!

  "stop shooting!" i instruct everyone. the other ninja stop, but garmadon does not. i jump behind the fallen autograph signing table as he continues to fire his powers everywhere.

  "cmon lloyd." garmadon says. "you're no match for me!"

  i am, i remind myself. i beat him before, i can beat him again. let's just get this over with, and then i can forget about garmadon.

  i peek over the table just to be almost hit with garmadons power. i duck back down and then quickly roll off to the side, continuing to dodge garmadon's attempts to hit me.

  i actually prefer this to actually having to fight him. it's less painful.

  suddenly i get hit and fall to the ground. well i'm in pain garmadon hits me again. and again. and again.

  "stop!" someone screams. the attack stops and i get up as quick as i can, which isn't very quick being as my whole body feels like i've been run over by a truck. it's actually a miracle im still conscious.

  i look over to see garmadon now shooting at harumi who's running around trying to dodge.

  "h- hey!" i weakly yell.

  garmadon looks at me for a second, then goes back to shooting at harumi. "you're all traitors!" he yells.

  i can't believe this man was my father once.

  "over here!" i yell at harumi and she runs to join me behind the table. she's breathing hard.

  "i don't think he's getting any weaker." she comments.

  "he is- it's just not happening fast enough." i reply.

  i spot garmadon over harumi's head. grinning, he holds up another ball of dark power.

  "duck!" i tell harumi and push her out of the way. im not fast enough though, and the blast hits me. i crumble to the ground again and feel myself blacking out.

  i try to fight it, but im just so tired...
