The wedding was done. The dress was shown, the kiss was shared, and the vows were spoken.

The bird was once again caged by a master who wanted to show his prized possession to the underworld of the modern era.

He pranced around with her, showing her off to the other greedy men, desperately wanting to hunt down that precious lady.

The lady felt miserable again. Never could she really leave her cage. Never she got to spread her wings and explore the world. Never she got the chance to feel the wind brushing through her hair, the sun on her skin, and the rain sliding down her body.

Once the master was home, the bird tried to flee her cage. Unfortunately, she was caught every time. The master was done chasing the bird and put her in a room with bars, never letting her out again.

And now she was sitting in front of the windows, looking out of her prison. She could see the reflection on the glass and saw a single tear escape from her eye.

She had let go of hope with that single tear that hit the floor, but she couldn't help but wonder if her master would let her ever out of her cage.
