Atifa pretty much had me by the balls about the whole Charlie situation. She kept saying how rude, stupid and dumb I was and am for not saying anything (which is true but I'm never going to agree with her). She went and told Za, who told Ryan and I was now being repeatedly called a complete 'pussy' by them. Again, it was deserved but that doesn't mean I like it.

I peel the sunglasses off my eyes, squinting my eyes a little as the sun bounced off the white exterior of the boat. I lift the bottle if beer I'd been drinking for the last half hour to my lips, wincing a little as I swallowed the remains. It had kinda warmed up about ten minutes ago and warm beer is not so great. I threw the empty bottle into a pile with a few other bottles Za and Ryan had made their way though today as we took the boat out for the first time in a couple of months.

I walked into the small indoor space of the yacht pulling on a shirt to match the deep blue basketball shorts that I'd been wearing today. We were just beginning to pull into the harbour as I searched around for everything I brought with me: keys, wallet, phone, sunglasses.

As the boat pulled into the harbour I walked up the stairs to the first floor looking into the bar and pulling out a sprite from the fridge and cracking open the can. You could now see the numerous boats lined up side by side, their shimmering exteriors reflecting the bright sun as we dropped in speed a little.

"What time is it?" I ask, slipping my sunglasses back over my eyes as the boat reversed into the designated spot in the little kind of harbour area. I don't even know the real terms.

"It's four thirty." Ryan replies flatly making me roll my eyes a little.

Ever since his girlfriend broke up with him he's been a little miserable, all that would be fine, only it's a constant thing and it just gets a little boring after a while. As soon as I complain to anybody else about it they bring up Charlie and how it took me a good month to get a grip over that so I just keep quiet. I nod my head in acknowledgement of his words and pull my phone out again.

Scooter had been asking what I was doing and if I could possibly have a meeting with him tonight over Skype or Facetime. It's quite obvious he doesn't quite understand my version of a break, meaning vacation. So instead of caving I tell him no, twisting the truth a little to say we had plans at some fancy restaurant and maybe another time, I'm going back to the hotel, eating then probably going to bed because that's exciting as my life gets right now.

We wait twenty minutes for a car to arrive for us since it's too far to walk back to the hotel then leave the yacht thanking the captain who had taken us around all day. We're a few steps down the wooden kind of dock area when Atifa walks quickly to come beside me.

"So what was the sudden need to be here?" Atifa asked, she had suddenly taken a large interest in my personal life since Tuesday. She'd been pestering me about almost everything I'd done asking what I was hoping to find at places and why I was doing certain things.

"I don't know Atifa, maybe I just wanted to spend a day with my friends, not having to be worried about being followed by fans or paparazzi?" I snapped clenching my jaw, she just kinda stared at me blinking a few times before opening her mouth.

"So it's not bec-"

"No." I cut her off. She doesn't have to finish her question because it's the same thing she's asked me ten times over in the last 48 hours. Maybe, just maybe, my every action is controlled because of a girl I had a month long relationship with.
