17: It's Been A While

It's been a while ,

Since I've been here

The days been hectic ,

Or so I thought?

I know I have to keep up ,

But I've been downed lately

My mind's keep wondering somewhere ,

Though I'm still at home

Trying to keep myself busy ,

Even though I'm not actually.

Same old nothing new ,

But things are a bit weird lately

I looked like a mess ,

But I still have my freedom

I have a lot of ideas ,

But I can't seem to write

I'm losing my grip ,

It's quite not a good sign

Am I drifting away from the pen and papers ,

Or I'm just tired?

Then the nights of contemplating ,

Lead me to this

I started it not just by fun ,

But my passion is there

All my doubts are fading ,

I'm still in control

I still have the fire ,

I still have my will

I can still think and think ,

I can still to create

No matter what ,

Be it being free or being stubborn

I want to keep writing ,

That's all I need to do

So this piece is actually impromptu ,

I don't even know what I'm saying

The words keep on coming ,

As long as I imagine

From the hollows of my wasted days ,

I've kept a lot to wrote this unnecessary piece.

So welcome back to me ,

I guess it is true

A writer is a veteran amateur ,

Who doesn't know how to quit

Writing is fun ,

It was and it's still now

My head feels lighter now ,

Not yet there but there's progress

It's been a while but ,

We've only just began!..
