46: Chapter '24

So here it goes ,
I ain't settled yet
But what can I do?
It has to end ,
A new chapter begins.

A one heck of a year
Filled with laughter and tears
It's like a bumpy road
With the ups and downs ,
Destinations still nowhere near.

But I did find some takeaways
Some good memories to keep
The bad ones sting
Though I'm grateful for the scars ,
It made me better version of myself.

Chapter '23..
I've seen and heard crazy feats
Life's and world's shambles in degrees
From disasters and unforeseen things
Yet they keep standing still ,
Humans do really are unique!

Life's imperfect
So as I
So are you
I've had my darkest and happiest ,
Well.. I'll better stick with the latter.

Blood , sweat and passions
Love and redemptions
Politics , war and the waiting games
Climate is changing ,
The fear's looming within.

12 months of daily struggles
365 days of relentless escapes
Meet new familiar faces
Lose some friends along the journeys ,
But family is our intangibles.

I've tasted defeats
I've enjoyed some good scenes
My battles are deep and hollowed
Sometimes my heart's blackened ,
But I'll always pick goodness still.

As my poetry continues
So is life as I searched for answers
To million questions afloat
Clarity is where conscience is ,
Dignity for every temptations there is.

My new years resolution
Is for me , for us
To find our purpose
To be whole and complete ,
May God bless us indeed!

People comes and goes
It begins and ends always
The trails are the proof
As my dreams still in pursuit ,
May next year be more friendly..
