42: Setback

I am my own failure
I have no one to blame
Nor do I want to blame others
My demise is my own negligence ,
I'm fully responsible for it.

Well , life sucks sometimes
For me , it's often times
When you feel like you're flying already
Then you'll fell deep miserably ,
What a painful prank of life!

I've done most people would do
Did my best ,
Worked and working hard ,
Learned and grow..
Yet the world seems unkind ,
It makes you feel how small you are.

It's unfair
It's excruciating
When you're on the doorstep of your dreams
Then you're pulled away by cruel fate ,
The depravity is something else!

As I'm sinking it in
I've cried and cried
It's annoying , it hurts
Even my desperate smile ,
Can't hide the sadness in my eyes.

I've hit rock-bottomed
Wounded and scarred
This sickness I've suffered
May dragged me down ,
But not forever will be lost.

I'll take a rest for a while
Be it months or years , I don't mind
My defeat doesn't mean it's over
For as long as I'm still breathing ,
I'll come back someday stronger!
