Limerence

Run

I ran and ran into the deep dark forest as it rained heavily, I didn't know where I was going, I was cold, there were cuts on my body and the little clothes I was wearing were torn , I wasn't wearing shoes, so my feet were naturally swollen and badly damaged

All I knew was that I was on a mountain , so if I got off the mountain I'd find help, but I was so dumb to think that I could easily casually run off a mountain

As I ran and ran everywhere, scared to death as my heart was pounding and I could barely breathe

I saw a big log , and sat down on it for a couple minutes, I was already too scared of a forest and very tiered and injured but suddenly,

I heard a stick break
my feet were on the log

My heart dropped, as I slowly looked around ,

"Boss , we've looked everywhere we can't find her anywhere"

One of the guards said

"Fucking bullshit,"

Boss said as he paced back and forth

We were standing it the middle of the road with multiple cars parked as the guards searched the forest

This was a private mountain, it was our bosses , so he wasn't worried about anyone finding her, neither could he be worried of any wildlife since he loved hunting , so we were quite confused as to why he looked so worried and why he came himself to find her

"I'm going in myself"

He said taking out his duffel bag and handing it to one of his guards

All of us stared at shock as to what we just heard, the boss who's ego is too high to even walk on the path that isn't clean is going into the woods for a......girl?

"B-but what?! S-sir it's to dangerous-"

I tried to plead but he interrupted

"Dangerous?"

He stated, his tone deepened and his eyes darkened and he looked down on me as I felt stupid , telling danger itself about danger

He went alone, into the woods , as we all stared at his silhouette disappear into the dense woods , but I slowly followed behind with his guards just in case
