this is the second part of MOTHER'S DAUGHTER. i'm not gonna forbid you from reading it without reading the first book cause i believe in free will, but i strongly recommend reading MOTHER'S DAUGHTER first because:
1. there are spoilers from the previous book in this one (starting from the prologue)
2. i think it turned out pretty good
anyway, if you want to read this one first, it's set up to make sense even if you haven't read the previous one, trying to refresh what happened in MOTHER'S DAUGHTER and explaining those fundamental events that have repercussions in this new book.
