Chapter 173: I'll Take Care of Big Brother From Now On

When Xian Yu saw his Little Sister, he was overjoyed. He immediately forgot about his argument with his manager and pulled Murong Qiao to sit on the comfortable and soft sofa.

"I just finished filming. Qiaoqiao came at the right time." Xian Yu stuffed the potato chips beside him into his Little Sister's arms and placed a bottle of yogurt beside her.

It was as if he was not the one who had just thrown a tantrum in front of the manager just now.

"Hello, Young Miss Murong." The manager also greeted her. He was very tactful and didn't mention anything more.

"I'm going to return to school soon so I came to see you first." Murong Qiao sat obediently beside him and greeted his manager. "Hello."

"I happen to have some things to deal with, so 1 won't disturb you." The manager knew what was going on and found an excuse to slip away, leaving space for the siblings.

In the end, Murong Qiao was still a student after all. The two of them had an unspoken mutual understanding and didn't tell her about this matter. Xian Yu also didn't want his Little Sister to worry about him.

Murong Qiao lowered her eyes and hid her thoughts. She secretly remembered Fifth Brother's matter.

"I asked Director Liu Cheng. He said that you've been filming so much these past two days that you had forgotten to eat and sleep." Murong Qiao looked at Xian Yu and her gaze landed on his obviously thinner face.

The last time she saw him, when he smiled, she could still see the slightly protruding flesh on his cheeks. He looked like an energetic young man who made people's eyes light up.

Xian Yu smiled. "It's all your fault for creating such a good male lead character. I'm now addicted to acting as him."

He said it casually, but Murong Qiao felt her heart ache.

Acting was not an easy thing to do. It was common for actors to wear only a thin blouse outside while filming. Seeing the temperature drop in the past two days, Murong Qiao couldn't help but worry about Xian Yu.

"Big Brother, don't work so hard." Murong Qiao tore open the potato chips but took out a piece and stuffed it into Xian Yu's mouth first. "I can support you when I earn money in the future."

Her tone was sincere and honest, as if she was talking about something very ordinary.

Xian Yu looked at his Little Sister and happened to see the serious look in Murong Qiao's eyes. He knew she wasn't joking.

The anger that had just been ignited suddenly subsided and disappeared without a trace while his heart softened for no reason.

"Sure." Xian Yu agreed with a smile and ate the potato chips his Little Sister fed him.

He seemed to have forgotten that he had to maintain his figure for the Fashion Week Show in two days and finished all the chips with Murong Qiao.

"Then it's settled." Murong Qiao agreed with a smile.

After that, she didn't stay in the production team for long as Xian Yu still had to film and Murong Qiao had to go back to school. The two of them chatted for a while before saying goodbye.

After leaving the set, Murong Qiao called Jiang Chi and asked for Xian Yu's manager's contact number.

"Hello?" Xian Yu's manager picked up the call. "May 1 know who's calling?"

"It's me," Murong Qiao said. Her clear and soft voice let the manager know the identity of the person immediately.
